Perfect Fit
I ordered this item for our humidifier that's on our furnace. My husband found it and ordered it because it looked like the one we needed. It was the perfect fit. Thank you -

WORKS WELL BUT….
The solenoid works well but it is very noisy when it opens and closes to let water thru.

The right part for our Honeywell & don’t buy knock offs, they don’t work
This is the right one for our Honeywell humidifier, do not buy cheap knock off, they will leak, this one works correctly!

Solenoid Valve works perfectly
This solenoid is replacing the exact same solenoid I installed in 2016. The 2016 solenoid was making a loud "clunking" noise when it turned on/off and the water discharge was EXCESSIVE! The new unit, which I was able to just swap in place, works great! The water discharge is now an optimal stream for the pad and I can barely hear the solenoid engaging. This is my 3rd solenoid for his humidifier.

Exact Replacement Part
Easy to replace old part. Seems pricey for what it is.

Easy installation with a perfect fit
Easy installation with a perfect fit. You always have to worry about replacement parts fitting without modifications due to equipment upgrades over time. This hooked up in the exact location, all holes lined up, all piping connected perfectly. I was definitely pleased.

Works but missing Flow Control!
First I'll start with the pros...This solenoid valve does function. The package comes with a replacement compression fitting for the vinyl supply hose which you have to replace. It also came with the internal small rubber tubing and water feed bridge which are an added bonus but really not necessary unless your existing pieces are broken. Now for the cons...The voltage supply wires are only about 6" which was too short for my application. My original unit had at least 18" of wire so of course the replacement unit needed extension wires attached to it which I cut off the old solenoid. This is not really the fault of the valve but more my furnace installer who should have run the supply wires from the humidistat all the way the valve and connected it at the coil.My biggest beef with this is there is no flow control on the solenoid!! The old valve had a small adjustment screw and lock nut to allow you to set up the water flow through your pad. This valve doesn't so you wind up wasting water out the bottom! These should be set up so that just a constant drip comes out the bottom to let you know the pad is saturated. This thing actually flows a steady stream which is wasteful and causes undo wear and tear on the condensate pump. Now I will have to install an inline manual flow control.

durability is limited, check your humidifier periodically to ensure it is still working properly
Part is quite easy to install, I only needed a flat screwdriver and a 1/2" wrench. Unfortunately, I am only getting about 4 years out of one of these before they die. The last one got stuck in the open position causing the humidifier to run at maximum all the time which led to excessive humidity in the house and a major condensation problem on the windows during a cold snap. The price is also up quite significantly from the last time I bought one 4 yrs ago.

Works for now
Stock Honeywell unit failed after 1 year. This is a direct replacement, and based on reviews and internet research I expect another failure. Eventually I'm going to wire the solenoid to work with a relay and a transformer, using the signal from the humidistat to activate the relay, as I expect the current being used to hold the solenoid open from the humidistat is not enough, or poor quality hence the first failure.

It works.
Sadly, the ORIGINAL one I got with the humidifier was DOA out of the box. After a couple years of running the humidifier water constantly, I got this and had it installed. Worked as it should.

It worked !!!
Delivered as described with no delays. Worked as expected and you can DIY no need to spend $$$ with external party. The cost seems high but I hope it's a high quality product and will work for years to come. The original one last for 4 years. Thanks!
