SVBONY comes through!
Works with my Canon 1000D and fits a 1.25" eyepiece . Comes in two parts, the T ring and the M42 to 1.25" adapter which allows you to interchange with other pieces if you have them

Great Adapter for Astrophotography with a Canon EOS
Im currently using this adapter with my Canon EOS 500D (Rebel T1i) on a Sky-Watcher Flextube 200P scope and it works quite well, however the telescope's stock focuser doesn't allow it to travel inwards far enough so I have to use my 2x Barlow to get a focus. Thats alright however as I mainly image Jupiter & Saturn, but I can only get parts of the moon due to the added focal length from the Barlow. I did however order the 2" M42 adapter that goes onto the T-Ring so I can hopefully get the camera in far enough that I dont need the Barlow! The 1.25" thread allows filters to be added to the end which is very useful especially for very light polluted areas, like where I live, a CLS filters helps a lot. I highly recommend getting this adapter as a first inexpensive step in Astrophotography if you already own a DSLR. The planetary & lunar pics attached where taken with this exact setup.

Nicely made, good fit
Nicely made, good fit.But it does not allow me to focus at infinity, where most stars are.... It should be shorter. It actually consists of 3 parts: the 1.25" nosepiece, the EOS mount and a ring with the T2 thread. It could be made smaller and lighter, maybe just one part.BTW: I use an Orion Starblast 4.5 reflector. It's a small scope to put a SLR on, but I wanted to try. The balance is a challenge...

Works perfect for prime focus. (See details)
As it can be seen with the picture; I was able to achieve perfect focus and stability using this product. The image was taken with a Cannon t6 DSLR and an 8in Orion SkyQuest Reflector. The reflector I am using isn't set up for prime focus purposes, it's an observation telescope. I was able to achieve focus by screwing on a barlow lense to the filter adapter. This will be a required step for any Newtonian style telescope set up for observation purposes. Put simply, if you can't get focus, get a barlow and screw it onto the end.Reguarding the build quality of the item, it's simply superb. The entire piece is made from metal, it's not too heavy, and the tollarances are very tight. This is a great budget option if you're planning to get into astrophotography.

Fits the camera OK, I have a Canon T7. Not the Meade ETX-70
Fits the camera OK, I have a Canon T7. The part to inset into the back of my Meade EXT-70 doesn't fit.I bought this specifically to connect the camera and I thought it was what I was getting. Imagine my surprise when it didn't fit.
