Why did you pick this product vs others?: The use of the steel screen to melt into the plastic, reinforced and made the repair process easier. I bought extra for other time.

Worked great
Worked great for what we needed. Used it to repair a hole in a kayak. Will definitely purchase again if needed in the future! Easy to cut and shape, all around great product design for small jobs.

Looks are deceiving
Bought this specifically to fix a plastic part that I couldn't find anywhere. I was getting desperate enough that I thought I might have to venture into 3D printing. I saw this thermoplastic repair with the stainless mesh and thought it worth a try. Watched vid's and tackled the repair. It went well and applied as advertised, looked good, strong and I was hopeful. It failed on the second usage. This was all over a plastic piece that should have cost about .50 but isn't sold singularly, you have to purchase a 200.00 plus unit that it fits in, which I ended up having to do. I've not given up on this product as I'm certain that I will find other applications for it. Just keep in mind it's not a cure-all.

Stainless steel patches
I ran across these when a mouse chewed a hole under my garden tub and made a nest. The durability is great, I haven't had any more mouse coming up through it. It was easy to apply and great price and and everything the seller said it was. I will be getting more. And I definitely recommend these.

Works well with plastic welding. Only one piece, when the add copy leads you to believe there is at least two. Incredibly expensive for just one piece.
