Great use for USB on keychain
Used this for a USB drive on my keychain. I wanted something I could attach and detach quickly so I didn't have the weight of all my keys stressing the USB port on my computer. This works great and is built well. The quality is great. After several months of regular usage, the hinge is just as tight as the day I bought it.

Perfect for my application
Perfect for my application. I purchased 4 of these to use for my Hennesy Water Collection Rainfly Tensioner funnels. I wanted something that has a small thin cross section for the clip so it could fit in the loop on the funnel. I also wanted something I could be sure would not rust. So far no rust. A small piece of braided nylon line and the clip worked well, I just loop the line up to the tarp grommet and back down to the clip. Lightweight and easy. Clever and Useful Fastener for So Many Purposes
These are nice little fasteners, useful in a variety of ways. This last purchase was for additional biners for camping purposes. One can use these to connect ridge lines for tarps, bug nets and under-quilts to suspensions when hammock camping, One can hang lights that have bails with these onto tent loops or a line, or clip and hang your shoes to a ridge line to keep crawlies away. A larger size might be better for other gear, and not just for the weight limit but actually more for how wide the spring gate opens. Now I've found some of these not well swagged, so that the formed "head" of the spring gate slips free of the mounting hole. This is a quality issue. Likely the larger models are more carefully watched for correct manufacture. I'd stick to the stainless models; the plastics have been known to crack. Also there are "marine" models (larger sizes) that are much more rust resistant.

Great binder!
This is a handy clip I use for almost everything from key ring to flashlight wristband. It is small, light weight but is strong. The springs keep the attachments secured. I have used one for more than a year, and the spring are still holding up.

Great little widgets
I have a collection of these wonderful little connectors. They help secure my backpack sections closed and a much larger one helps in hanging it on hooks. I love the #2 size for my key ring. The #1 size works in securing small items (those mini cards that companies like to use) to my key ring. They are very handy little items.

Flimsy Gate Construction of Small S-biners Spoils Security
** Same review posted for "Nite Ize SB1-2PK-01 Size-1 S-Biner, Black, 2-Pack" - 2 stars The S-biners has a coolness factor, that made me want to like them. But within 1 minute of receiving them I found these to be defective, and immediatly checked the black ones as well. Within 5 minutes I had decided to return both #1 S-biner packs I ordered. The gates are shaped like a claw, and hinged by insertion into holes in the S shaped steel body. They are secured with a dab of clear acrylic or similar plastic like material. However the small gauge of the wire used for the gates means they are thin, bendable and easily pop out of the hinge holes. I don't think the holes should be called sockets, as they're not really fitted. Once one side starts to shift out, the whole wire-gate becomes misaligned. The gate no longer closes properly, and items kept on the S-biner are no longer secure. A light squeeze on the partially dislocated hinge will realign the gate... for the time being. If you exercise the gate a few times, it'll misalign maybe once or twice every five times. I checked the other gate, and also the 2nd S-biner of the pair. One hinge was actually all the way out. I was able to pop it back in. The other gate hinges were also loose. They give a tactile pop, when you lightly squeeze the hinge together. The pair of #1 black S-biner I ordered at the same time, also exhibit this problem, but not as severely. It's possible the black coating on the gate wire made them fit a bit more securely. However, one gate was also slightly misaligned. Overall, not as bad as the uncoated stainless steel version. Given the severe defect on the stainless steel S-biners, and the poor fit on the black S-biners, I could not count on these S-biners to secure my possessions. Therefore, the steel #1 are 1 star, and the black #1 are 2 stars. And I don't trust either of them. ---- I had intended to use the #1 and smaller S-biners for keychain items such as a Leatherman Micra, keys, and perhaps a future keychain LED light. After handling the #1 S-biners, I knew the even smaller #0.5 would be even worse. I can't trust them to secure my keys. So I am no longer considering the Microlock or the KeyRack as viable options, those S-biners are all #0.5 sized. I should note that I also ordered and received in the same shipment #2 S-biners; steel and black. They are bigger, the gate wires are more substantial and do not exhibit the same wobbliness of the #1 S-biners. They seem better constructed, but I am more skeptical of them than I was before I got to handled the #1 S-biners. I want to spend more time with the #2 S-biners before more comments on them. Given that the #2 sized S-biners seems okay, the Slidelock #2 S-biner might be feasible option in the future, but I'm not trying them at prices higher than MSRP. I wanted to like them, but can't. Thanks for reading.

Super tiny clips
These things are so small, about the size of two pennies side-by-side, but they do the job, although I haven't actually found a good use for them yet (I just got them).

Really like this make and the fact they hold a certain weight, have quite a few and buy for gifts which they genuinely like to receive. I do a lot of gifting of useful or survival things.
