It works Ender 3 Marlin 1.1.9
Like - arrived on time in a padded envelope. Sensed the aluminum heated bed thru my 2mm glass print surface. It is a NO PNP output so divided it down with a 4.7K/1K resistor divider (0.25W). I connected the signal to the Ender 3 Z_ENDSTOP thru the divider. I connected the power to the Ender 3 24V. I tried Marlin 2 (wont fit in memory), TH3D (wont work with NO probe) and finally Marlin 1.1.9 (works). If you want to make DIY auto bed leveling I recommend watching Chris's Basement on YouTube. He helped me setup config.h for a DIY probe.Did not like - No datasheet. I had to search the internet for data on similar probes. I 3d printed the locking nuts and needed the M18 pitch.

Usable once I finally got a working unit
First one was DOA - proximity light went on the moment it was powered up. Replacement took the better part of a month to arrive. It works but do be aware, 8mm detecting distance is for steel / iron ONLY. For a typical aluminum 3D printer bed, the range is just under 4mm.

Tested to 1200 ppm with relatively small target
Only had time to do a quick test seemed very solid output to ~ 1200 ppm with a relatively small screw head as a target.

Poor sensitivity
Operating at 24V, this sensor initially just barely detected my 3D printer's aluminum bed at 4mm. After a few hours of testing, it dropped to 2mm. Not acceptable for an 18mm sensor and not useable in my application.

Exactly as advertised
Does everything it should
