The cover is weak. The zipper was broken when I got it. I was able to fix it, but it won't stay closed. Zipper cover ripper very easily. Had one of these years ago with a lace up seam. Our group of athletic young men abused it and could not harm it at all. This thing got tore up by six upper elementary boys. If you get one you need to be gentle with it... And if anyone expects a group of boys to be gentle with a giant bouncy ball they are nuts... That's not going to happen!

Words can't describe the hours of fun (and exercise) we've gotten from this 48" ball. Teens, Juniors & Adults all seem drawn to play as soon as we inflate it. One word of advice: Purchase a small, portable compressor with it so you can inflate the bal once you get it IN THE ROOM you are going to play in. The ball is bigger than most doorways so on-site inflation works best. (YUP, we learned the hard way! :-) )

I bought this to use for youth activities with our church. Set up was easy with a air compressor. Once I had it together, I could see that some of the seems were not crafted well. We used it for our youth activity and after an hour of play, one of the seems had already burst open. I also noticed that the nylon fabric can easily burn the skin because of how course it is. I returned it; Amazon refunded my money. I would not purchase this model again.

I work with youth and host youth games with teens all the time. I thought this was awesome that I could buy these on Amazon now and get out of shipping costs, and get them within 2 days.I have used cage balls for the past 5 years, and will not be purchasing this brand again. I bought 2 5ft balls and while blowing them up instantly knew it was a mistake. The bladders were okay, but the casing was very poor quality. As I was blowing up the bladder the case started to rip at the seams from the beginning. The bladder is held in by a zipper (which I originally thought was a good idea), but it ripped with the first game of volleyball.This product was a big disappointment.

The bladder seems stout, the zipper was weak and the velcro doesn't hold the flap closed. That said, we sewed the flap close and the zipper and it worked great after that.It's a big ball and it's tough (with the flap/zipper exception). We had teens, tarps, soap and water and a rough and tumble game of "Soap Ball" and it held up wonderfully.

Ball popped pretty early in our event. The cover is sturdy but the bladder itself was too thin.
