The Karate Kid DELUXE Cobra Kai Replica Gi Costume

The material is good and feels like a really karate uniform. I'm 5'11", about 200 lbs and the XL pants fit perfectly. The XL jacket, however, is way too small. The lower part of the jacket ends right at my belt so when I put my arms up it shows my belly. I was able to pull the pants up and I used a real martial arts belt to tie the jacket down so it didn't lift up. The belt that comes with the costume is just a piece of black fabric and not a real martial arts belt.Ultimately, I wouldn't buy again. I would, instead, by a black karate uniform and have the sleeves removed and then sew on the patches myself.

Won first place at my company's halloween contest using this, a headband and a blonde mullet wig. When I took my kid out trick or treating that night I got tons of "Sweep the leg!" shouts from people on the street.Material is thick and well made. The patches are thick sewn-on not iron-on - back patch is huge and they all look great. It's not itchy and doesn't smell weird.Makes me want to join Karate again so I have an excuse to wear it more than once a year.

My husband is 6'1" and 205 lbs, the XL fit well. The patches are great- they definitely add to the overall costume. It does not have the yellow trim on the vest. This really makes a difference. We ordered the costume without the patches first which did have the yellow trim-but no patches only vinyl screening, then decided to return and order this one because we know it will get a lot of use. I think I can add the yellow trim myself, but it is going to be very time consuming. If it had the yellow trim, definitely would have given 5 stars.

I range from a Women’s 16 to 18.I got the M/L size hoping it have extra space compared to female versions of the costume out there. The top fits. The pants are the right length in the legs, my only issue is that are extremely tight in the thighs and waist. I did a bunch of swats, kicks, bent over a few times and sat down in a chair and they didn’t split.The costume image on the packaging does feature the yellow trim on the top, it’s not on the actual top in the pack. I’ve paid a seamstress to sew the it onto the top.

Very happy with the purchase. The only complaint is that the patches are glued on. One is coming up on the leg after a weekend of use but clearly within the expected performance of a product at this cost.

XL. Just got it tonight. Tried it on. Perfect! Comfortable. Surprised how heavy the fabric is. I'm a size 16 woman's. So fits great but no yellow piping. Wondering if I should bother adding it. Nah. Gonna go get headband next. So exciting!

This was for my husband for a costumed race that he participated in. He just loved it. There were about twenty people in his group who wore the same costume. It was hilarious.
