Columbia Girls' Windy Explorer Jacket

The jacket itself is of good quality and fit as the size chart said it would. I ordered this item as a last minute need for a trip and because I am a prime member this jacket was supposed to ship with 2-day shipping. It's too bad the jacket arrived after we left for our trip. Next time I will be more mindful of Amazons shipping practices. Even if it is a Prime item they may take longer to process your order.

When searching for a new jacket for my daughter, we both agreed that this one looked like a good bet. I expected it to be more of a jacket though. It's VERY thin and hard to qualify even as a windbreaker. I haven't tested the "water-proofness" yet, but it appears it would keep you dry. The lining on the inside is also the thin, slick material. If you wear a sweater underneath, it'll be nice.

My 13 year old could care less about getting a rain jacket but when it rains she wants mine! This one did spark her interest and she actually wears it. It fits as we expected and so far no complaints, that says a lot from a tween ;)

Nice quality but a bit bigger than I was hoping. My daughter is a sz 7 and we have to roll the sleeves a couple times, but that just means she will wear it 2 seasons! Good price for Columbia.

I am very pleased with this jacket! It has held up well in all weather conditions. I have also washed several times and it still looks new. No staining so far which is a bonus for me. I am actually glad it was somewhat larger because we can get at least another year out of it. Overall I would recommend!

This is a little bigger than I expected but I did buy a larger size with the thought of layering and growing into it. We are very pleased. Good construction and looks very nice even being too big. A little thinner than I was hoping but not an issue. I just layer it over a hoodie if it is a little chillier outside.

My daughter loves this rain coat. We bought it for camp so the fact that it is lightweight is very helpful. It didn't take up too much space in her bag. Fits well - size is as expected. She had tried a smaller size on at our local store but they didn't have the correct size. Thankful we found it on Amazon!!

OK , but too hot for summer rainwear, has a full lining- would be a good spring or fall windbreaker
