Dad bod approved but watch those “inside pockets”
Solid Tactical Jacket - Mostly Awesome, Minor Quirks Writing under wife’s account so if it sounds like she suddenly got into tactical gear, nope, I am her husband. I picked up this tactical jacket in XL (I’m 6’ tall, 200 lbs, rocking the classic manly dad bod) and it fits just right, not too snug, not too baggy. The material is surprisingly soft for something that looks like it could survive a zombie apocalypse. Comfortable enough to wear all day, whether I’m out skiing or just knocking around Denver. Pockets Galore: and I mean everywhere. Front, sides, sleeves, even the back. My wife especially loves the rear pockets, perfect for warming her hands when we’re out walking. It’s like a built-in hand-holding system. Now, a few quirks: Patches: Not sure what the deal is here. I’ve never seen anyone actually use these patch spots in real life. Feels a bit cosplay-ish unless you’re in a tactical unit or a paintball league. Inside “Pockets”: I say “pockets” loosely. Dropped my charger in one and it went straight through like a trapdoor. Landed on my foot. Ouch. Why not just sew the bottom shut? Feels like a missed stitch. Armpit Zips: Ventilation is cool, but a little mesh wouldn’t hurt. That said, my wife likes sticking her hands in there too, so maybe they’re multi-purpose. Bottom line: For the price, it’s a solid buy. Looks sharp, feels great, and it’s versatile enough for winter sports or weekend errands. Just don’t trust those inside pockets with anything that you actually want to keep.

Fantastic Jacket! Above and beyond it's product description!
I'm 6'2" tall with broad shoulders and narrow hips, so finding a jacket that fits me well has always been a challenge. This free soldier jacket is the exception! A wonderfully comfortable fit with a sharp appearance. There are multiple pockets with zippers, plenty of room to store whatever you need to carry with you. The jacket is warm and flexible having underarm zippered vents for cooling if necessary. I really like the length of this jacket it's just slightly below waistline which is perfect for me. I would normally wear a large size in jackets but with this particular one following the size chart I ordered medium and it's perfect! I highly recommend this jacket!

warm, wind resistant and basically water repellant. Size and feel is very good. good amount of pockets (never can have too many pockets). Nice hood. works well.

Wonderful product
I am amazed at the quality of this jacket. Fits me perfect, is warm and has many deluxe features.. Great zippers, wonderful hood for those rainy days. The pricing is reasonable for the quality of the jacket.

Definitely worth it, hopefully my forever jacket.
So, proof to this review. I just bought it last week and put it to the test this past Saturday. My stepson had a TYFA championship playoff game this past Saturday here in Texas. It was 56° and a steady heavy drizzle or light rain. I was part of the chain gang holding the down marker so I could it use an umbrella. This jacket held up to its descriptions. It eventually got soaked, but I literally stayed dry and warm. I ordered a large. I am 5'7" and at about 198lbs. A bit over weight, and it's a but loose on me. But it's definitely comfortable. I love the pit zips because as I started to sweat, I was able to unzip my pits just a bit for better ventilation and no more sweating and I was still warm. The hood is great in both ways. I love the extended bill, it kept the rain off my face and glasses. And when thrown back, it sits flat, not all puffed out like most jackets. No, here are my downsides. It has plenty of pockets, I wish it had at least one internal pocket. But my phone and smokes stayed dry in the rib pockets 100%. Second downside. Since my jacket is a bit too big for me, the bicep pockets are a bit difficult to zip back up. I have to hold the cuff with my fingers to keep it tight and pull the zipper up. But that's not a defect in the product, just an issue with the size I ordered, so keep that on mind. 3rd issue, there were no instructions on how to roll the hood up and stow away. I had to watch the video for the product a view times to see how they are folding it. But once folded, it's a nice tick fleece lined collar. All in all great product, there is a video on YouTube where a guy has owned his for years and loves it. I definitely recommend. I'm going to order another one, but without the hook and loop patches for my wife. She loves mine as well.

Good quality item
I needed a water repellant jacket with multiple pockets for travel. I recently wore this jacket on a trip to Scotland. The weather was cool and damp most days, and the jacket kept me warm and comfortable with just a regular shirt underneath. A quick rain event caught me on the streets and I kept dry with the hood in action. I am very pleased with this jacket and the fact I had sleeve pockets to carry protein bars and other items easily for long walks in the Scottish towns and trails (climbing Arthur's Seat/Edinburgh). It easily packed into my carry-on bag for the flight home. I would recommend this jacket for its price point and usability.

Fantastic jacket
Fantastic jacket. I bought three of these jackets for three different people and the quality is excellent. However, please note that the fit does have a taper at the waist and hips. So if you are husky or maybe not so fit you may want to order up one size. The quality is very good, water repellent and plenty warm for 40 degrees on it’s own.

Me gusta, es amplia para llevar alguna otra prenda debajo, no es la adecuada para frio. Las bolsas de lujo todo les cabe y son seguras que nada se te caiga.

Really good quality for the price paid, would buy again without hesitation. This is pretty much the same jacket you get from high end tactical brands for 1/3 of the price. It's perfect for cold Canadian spring/autumn if combined with a hoodie underneath, the water repellant is working as expected as well. The only 2 minors issues is that the large pockets on each side is located on the chest level instead of normal level. The other one is the tightening cord for the hood is exposed inside and is easy to get tangled in. Otherwise the zipper is of good quality and covered with fabric helping to keep you dry. Plenty of pockets and the lenght is just a tad longer while keeping a good proportion for arms.

English version: (Español más abajo) I bought this jacket for my trek on Malinche, and it really served its purpose throughout the entire adventure. It kept me warm from start to finish, even when we camped at 3,800 meters above sea level and started the ascent to the summit at -2°C. I can confidently say that the quality/price ratio is excellent and totally worth it. 100% recommended for anyone looking for a reliable jacket that performs well in extreme conditions. I’ve attached a photo of the summit as evidence.
