Q: Can I use normal nail varnish for the colour & gel for base & top coat? Excited to try Beetles out!

I never tried using the base coat, but I don’t see why you couldn’t. I used the top coat before over my gel polish and it was alright. It’s not something that I would do often, normal nail polish isn’t the same as gel polish, but it does work and doesn’t come off or chip.

Q: Can you use regular base and top coat with the gel polish?

No you need a gel base and top coat as it causes the cohesion to the nail.
