It’s a great paper. Great for sketching pencil charcoal. Things I use. But it arrived with the cover damaged. And I don’t want to do the hassle of returning so. I’ll just deal with it. But could be prevented with a simple cardboard cover. But other than that. Good sketchbook.

I like the color of the paper. Smooth texture. Slightly thin, so pen/fountain pen do show through the back.

This sketchbook has very fine tooth, cream colored paper, and a soft cover. The pages do lay flat, as advertised! I use prismacolor and faber castell pencils on this paper and they work great! I have the Drawing book, so not for any wet media. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the cover came scratched an indented quite a bit- but it is a soft cover after all and you can’t really help a package getting tossed around in shipping! Good value for money and it’s a nice size! I would really love a square shape form the same line!!

Very good, as usual, Strathmore 400 drawing paper, takes a beating. Will tolerate low to medium washes of watercolor and brush pen (platinum carbon ink) with the slightest ghosting on back of page.

I love the quality of this paper I wish they made more of these journals they're actually perfect.

This is almost too luxurious for a sketchbook. Lightweight, so good to carry in pack.

The cover material was scratched as if it was used.
