Love the cd

none better.

This cd sucked,poor quality, but I got my moneys worth.

Great selection of songs I will engoy it and have should be more CDs like this one.

Looking at previous reviews of this set, it shows how people have different ideas about music! I agree that many of the tracks here have been included on r+b, r+r & doo-wop compilations, and for that reason I bought this box set - that and the fact that the cover quotes "Floor-Fillers". Not being a soul fan I didn't know what to expect from the vast majority of tracks here.To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. I think this is a cracking issue, irrespective of the rights and wrongs of the title. Most definitely a lot of foot tapping tunes, and I can certainly imagine people making their way to the dance floor,Needless to say, it's all a matter of personal taste. I love it.

A more appropriate title would be 12 northern soul classics and 88 soul/doo-wop hits. Its OK, after reading others reviews I was kind of expecting what I got. I would not have bought it had it not had the Dobie Gray tracks.

Not really northern soul more RnB rock and roll totally disappointed with this album.
