Q: This photo is circulating with different photo edits. Im starting to believe these pompas plants are fake. Anyone have photos?

I emailed the seller in August because I couldn't get them to sprout. I did get a response and I got seedlings! I have a picture of my plants that I am trying to send to the seller because I am questioning if they are pampas plants. One of my plants has a bloom that will open probably within a week.

They like hot full sun. Grows well in Nuevo Laredo Mexico.

Q: Are these plants harmful to children or animals

That can easily be looked up but the answer is no. Also, you should know that Pampas grasses come in sand-pink to silvery-white colors. There us no such thing as blue pampas grass. You’ve been fooled. Please be weary of advertisements like this that advertise “exotic colors”, especially those advertising seeds. They are almost always scams. This was photoshopped.

Plant in spring. But none of the seeds from this vendor germinated - not one ! So I would not order from this vendor again. Think this cultivar should probably be sourced as seedlings from a nursery.
