I have a Chrysler Pacifica. 1st I had a feeling but didn’t realize I had roof rails. Came in very handy to strap it down. 3 straps on each side just hook around once loaded and tighten. It was really easy. There were straps to take it through the door but that was so simple. The bag fit right between the rails so it was perfect. It for a Lot! 2 stroller (one larger than the other, scooters, beach blankets, bags of towels, pillows, kites, and bedding all went in there. I only had to put the coolers and suitcases in my car. I wish I bought it sooner really save so much room on the floor.Id say the only drawback is depending on size of car you need a ladder/step to get on the roof to make sure it’s secure and zipped up. Lesson learned so on packup day I zipped it almost all the way up then stuffed it. I used a step ladder from our vacation spot and did it all on my own. Not like that a big deal but it is when planning or packing alone. It can be loaded with one person but definitely helps so have someone Tony get up there to help. Either way it works. Other nice thing the material. Lots of other brands had a vinyl exterior. This one is like a canvas bag with waterproof inside. No rips from any debris hitting and even when we tried to go in the garage and couldn’t make it, it didn’t rip or damage anything. Just took tall to clear. I really do like it and when we cameHome it folded up (like a fitted sheet) and went back into the bag. Very handy.

The media could not be loaded. This cargo bag did exactly what we needed it to.Needed additional space for a 10hr drive as we moved and this cargo bag did trick.QUALITY:It feels a bit flimsy, the zippers could be beefier, but it overall held up great. The straps/buckles are solid, the stitching all appears to be well done & durable. It is NOT 100% WATERPROOF though. I had to pack this the day before our drive, and it unfortunately rained that day. Sitting stationary in the rain for a solid 14hrs and it did let some water in, but not a lot at all. Our stuff was packed in hard shelled suitcases & some duffles inside of garbage bags, so everything was fine. Plan on doing some extra waterproofing yourself.INSTALLATION:Seriously couldn’t be easier. We don’t have cross bars, only rails, and securing it was no problem at all. After doing some test drives I have 0 concerns about it being safe. Very satisfied here.STORAGE:• 1 L suitcase• 1 M suitcase• 2 carryons• 2 duffles• 2 sets of 15-20 shirts on hangers in bagsProbably could’ve fit more soft items, but the suitcases made zipping it a bit tight.USE:This was on our roof for 12+hrs in the rain BEFORE our 10hr drive.It was sturdy, secure, SURPRISINGLY QUIET, and as I mentioned above waterproof enough to not worry, but not 100%

Prior to purchasing I read several pro and con reviews on the carrier. For those rating the product poorly, many of those reviewers were frustrated with the zippering mechanism and the potential of water leakage through the zipper. Nonetheless, I purchased the product.When I received the carrier I laid it out and looked at it. Using the product pictures as a guide I established what looked like the front and back ends. Interestingly, the visual front end is where the two zippers come together to close the top. The back of the carrier does not have a zipper and is solid material.However, when I read the instructions it said to install so that the zipper closes toward the back of my vehicle. In other words, I don't know if this is universal, but the zipper appears to be installed backwards! Given that, I simply installed the carrier in the reverse of its appearance and it worked fine. We didn't have an inclement weather on our maiden voyage, but it was sturdy and served its purpose. Once we were done using it, we were very appreciative it came with a nice compact carrying case that we could pack it into that takes up very little space.In summary, to maybe protect against some frustration compare their instructions to the actual look and feel of the product before you install it on your vehicle. I needed something to help me move from Colorado to Michigan without having to hire a moving truck. I have a small Chevy Cruz so I wasn't going to be able to fit even half of the things I needed in my car while also having room for my dog. This storage container was my saving grace. It was extremely heavy duty, fit almost 70% of my belongings (boxes, big bags of clothes, etc.) and with the straps that were provided that thing didn't even budge! Every time I stopped for gas I made sure to recheck the straps and re-tighten them if necessary, but once properly set up that thing wasn't going anywhere. There's also a flap that sits over the zipper and even though we went through some thunderstorms all of our belongings stayed perfectly dry. Such a great item for road-trips or moving, and I definitely believe it was worth the price. Highly recommend!

We purchased this because it was recommended for our VW Atlas. It was very easy to install. There is plenty of storage space which made our travel much more comfortable.Unfortunately they say the bag is waterproof and when we got home everything in the carrier was soaked. It rained and snowed a few times during our roadtrip, but I was not expecting this. Next time I will put everything in trash bags or wrap in plastic to prevent this. Not worth returning and finding a replacement.

Strapped this thing to my 06 Malibu and drove from Ohio to Arizona. Had about 60lbs of clothes and 2 50” flat screens in it. Went through 3 rainstorms and a blizzard with super high winds 1/4 of the drive and not one rip, tear or leak. This thing is amazing and a great investment for future trips.

This product works great. The straps are very sturdy and the buckles are heavy duty. It’s made of thick canvas so it doesn’t flap in the wind. Put a slight twist in the connection straps and it you will avoid any vibration from the wind. Highly recommend. Great price also.
