I was told that you could not hook up a new smart TV to old components like a DVD player or receiver, well they were wrong and everything works great. I watched some videos and I got it done. I am a 70 year old non techie

Did great at first, I plugged my Wii into it and it worked perfectly! After about the 3rd-4th time, the audio/video would randomly cut out in the middle of my game. Now, the video cuts off about every 2-3 seconds, making my Wii unusable once again :(

I'm using this to play the old Nintendo Wii on a TV that doesn't have the old ports necessary. It has the proper inputs and sends signal to my TV, however the image is really poor. I can't say whether or not this product is at fault or perhaps I haven't tried hard enough to configure my display settings on my TV to accommodate such old, non-HD tech. Maybe you'll have better luck.

I had the connector for the XBOX 360 and had it plugged into a 6-year-old 55" TV that was not 4k. It had the six composite RCA connectors. Worked great for 720p. I was surprised during my upgrade to a 4k TV that when I reviewed the specs, that composite was a default to the six connections. Nope! Wrong! Just yellow video and the red/white audio. What to do? Thanks Amazon! I found a great adapter and I playing my classic games on my new 65" TV.

I received an empty package Sunday. I reported it 5 min after the delivery and received a replacement tues. Stuff happens the first bag tore open and the small part must have fallen out. I am happy it was replaced quickly.

I have an old launch Xbox 360 that lacks an HDMI port and only has a proprietary port for a video cable that switchs between RCA & Y'Pb'Pr. With this little device, my repaired but RRoD-prone Xbox 360 is able to play nicely with modern TVs that lack Y'Pb'Pr ports! So far I don't perceive much, if any, latency. Which is impressive considering this is an active analog-to-digital converter! And do BE AWARE: Even though Y'Pb'Pr is technically "high definition", it's still ANALOGUE. The picture will still be relatively blurry, and may diappoint you if you're expecting crispy and clear video output for your modern display. No converter will help with this, short of your console directly outputting into a digital format like HDMI natively. If you keep that caveat in mind, then this converter serves its purpose beautifully. I recommend it if you have an ancient "high definition" console that doesn't support HDMI!

Me and the mrs are really sad and still enjoy playing Tiger Woods gold on the old xbox. The new tv we bought didn't have any of the scart or rgb ports. This worked amazingly well and the picture is better than we used to get. Many more round have been played.

Been using with my ps2 for around a year now and is still working absolutely perfectly, haven’t even had to think about it again after I installed it.
