Water Change Godsend
Use these for water changes. They’ve saved me a lot of trouble and prevented a soggy floor numerous times. Pretty much plug and play. The fact it comes with hose is really nice, and the hose is long enough for most applications. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who does water changes.

Great
Works great!! Use it for my essential oil distiller pump and it's perfect.

Glad I Kept
I started a return on this when I opened it because it's so small. I went ahead and tried it in my small pond and it works perfectly!

Strong flow rate
The pump works great, but was too high gph for my project. It won't adjust the flow downward by much at all. I stepped down to a 200 gph and still same result... not much adjustment on flow rate. If you have a larger project, this pump would be a good option. I'll keep it for inspiration for another fountain.

DANGEROUS
This pump worked really great…until it didn’t and almost started a house fire and injured my husband. We used this pump almost every day to replace 5-25 gallons of clean water in our aquariums. Almost 2 weeks after using it, we were doing a normal water change and my husband plugged it into the electrical outlet (same outlet we’d used it in daily) to start pumping water and the cord literally blew off of the plug end and the plug was hanging from the wall socket! I saw a bright flash (when it arched) and heard a loud pop and immediately looked to make sure my husband was safe. Thankfully he was not shocked/electrocuted (you can see the residue on his hands from the explosion) and the rubber tubing was the only thing running into the aquarium, so the fish were unharmed. My husband looked over the exploded ends and said there appeared to be a bad connection between the plug’s base and cord, and eventually it would have blown off if it hadn’t that night. He works with electricity everyday as a lineman and knows the dangers, but did not expect to be exposed to a dangerous arch at home when simply plugging in a water pump. Maybe we got a dud pump with bad wiring, but I feel obligated to warn others who may use this pump that this is a possibility and to use with caution. I’m now terrified to plug in a water pump, or any appliance for that matter!! Also, during the first few times of using we noticed little flecks of thin/chipped metal in the bottom of the bucket of clean water that were not there before we put the pump into it to pump clean water back into the aquarium.

Quiet enough
Using thi sto pump cool water through tubing that goes underneath my mattress cover to keep me from night sweats. So I needed it to be quiet as possible. It's really just a little hum, not too loud to be distracting. It's there, for sure, but low enough to sleep through for me. The previous pump I was using was WAY too loud.

Works well in outdoor fountains
Works, but the last one I received was a bit noisy. I have two pulling up about 2-3’ water in my fountains. I do like that they have a dry run option, as on overly windy days, the water dissipates on my one fountain with a steep drop. Unfortunately, They only last about a year.
