Great time saver
Great time saver. This is an awesome sewing attachment, it makes ruffles effortlessly. A must for curtains, home dec projects and for ruffles on clothing. You can adjust the amount of ruffle with a minor click. It comes packaged in the cutest box, gift ready. Any seamstress would appreciate as a gift. It is an all around quality product. It work just as good as singer official version at one third the price. This will work on any short shank sewing machine. I have personally used it on both Singer and Brother sewing machines.

Fits Brother's CE1000PRW with some adjustments!!! Well made product!!!
Works on Brother's CE1000PRW sewing machine. Took a little while for me to figure out the ruffler but once I figured it out it worked well. Had to adjust the length on the machine and during the figure out stage broke 6 needles. Good thing I bought some new needles before trying out the attachment. I do think that doing the gathering by hand is easier for me than attaching and adjusting everything on the machine so probably won't use it that often in the future except with big projects. Overall great product and well made. There's just a learning curve and some adjustments needed which can take some time.

Works excellent.
I had a ruffler for my old Singer (died). Pfaff ruffler was $125 if you could find one for sale. Hand me down (extra) Brother sew and embroidery machine likes this ruffler. Good quality and works as expected. ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøš

Only ruffler I'll ever trust
I highly recommend this ruffler foot for any ruffling needs one might have. I had originally bought another ruffler foot that felt pretty cheap and absolutely did not work with any of my machines so I decided to give this one a go and I am amazed! I had pretty low expectations setting up this foot but straight out of the box it felt sturdier and better quality than the original foot I had purchased. It was easily set up on both my mechanical machine and my computerized machine. It produces beautiful and even pleats, I'm in love!!

Expect to spend a good long while being confused when you want to start ...
First, let me talk about setup. The included directions mention all kinds of complicated places you need to be putting various pieces of fabric, and how to manipulate the different parts of the foot. Unfortunately it does not include any sort of labeled diagram to show you where/what all of these components are. Expect to spend a good long while being confused when you want to start using it.Now Let me talk about functionality. I bought this foot to make ruffles on 12 circles, each 24" in diameter. My first day having the foot, I successfullyish (it would randomly skip a ruffle here and there AND the knob that controls how deep the ruffle is had a tendency to come unscrewed in the middle of sewing which would change the ruffle size) ruffled 8 of the 12 circles, then it stopped working completely. I have tried taking the foot off completely, putting in a new needle, re-threading and redoing the bobbin. None of these help. My machine still sews just fine with other feet, which means that after ruffling the circumference of 8-24" circles (just over 603" or 50.25'), the foot is already broken, and I somehow have to find a way to ruffle 4 more circles. So, if you need to do one quick thing and feel brave, go for it. But if you plan on using it on multiple projects, spend more on a better foot.

Noisy little bugger
Took a risk and ordered this for my Juki HZL f600. It does fit (sort of) and work on that machine. You have to remove the foot to change the bobbin so make sure your bobbin is full before you start sewing (yes, I learned this the hard way). I oiled the foot prior to using it but its still SO NOISY! Works great, did a nice ruffle on satin for a baby blanket. But good grief its noisy. And not really any difference in time or quality versus hand ruffling. I may use it again but I'm not the biggest fan.

100% worth the money!
I thought this would be a beast to install, but I did it in 5 seconds! It works great! It's a bit loud, but I was expecting that reading another review. I was a bit nervous buying this with only 3.5 stars, but it really does work great. My favorite setting is 1 ruffle, 3 depth, and my stitch length set at 2.5. The ruffle I created in the picture was made using those settings. š anyways, so far so good, if anything changes I'll update my review!

Sew far, sew good (pun intended)
At first I thought...this is going to be tough one to learn for a newbie wanna be seamstress. Well, might as well give it a shot...itās not an expensive foot on an expensive machine. Once I watched YouTube video after YouTube video after YouTube video and read blog after blog and worked up the nerve to attach the foot, I was off and running (puns for days!) One of the videos I saw was, Dad Sews, and he said to manipulate the foot a few times prior to using it. I was really excited when I ran my test fabric through and it was making ruffles. My thread kept snapping once I got going and it was a beast to thread my needle. I donāt think it was the fault of the foot though, honestly it was probably my thread. I used an all purpose thread in an off brand and it feels thinner to me.My first project of ruffles turned out really cute. My second set, I started having problems with the foot not making ruffles on anything but ā1ā....damn... I broke it already! This is why we canāt have anything nice. I took the foot off and messed around with it and turned It every which way. It wasnāt doing the click click thingy, thereās a little metal thing near the adjuster lever that got loosened during the first use and once I pushed it back into place and tightened itās screw down, it was all good. (Iāll attach a picture)The foot came with instructions, the only thing that I wish had been included with the instructions was a formula for figuring out how much yardage you need for the ruffles. The Google Gods directed me to something that said to plan on at least 60% more fabric than what youāre trying to add ruffles to. There are a lot of variable like the length of your stitch and the setting of your foot, I get that. I would have liked a basic idea though.Overall, Iām happy with the purchase and glad I didnāt pass it up because Iām a newbie. If you find that youāre just doing straight stitches no matter what you have it set on...you might have the same problem I had.
