I've been running this humidifier every day all day for the past few days; here are my thoughts.This humidifier is able to bring my room's humidity (and in-air particles) up from around 3 to 50 (on my meter). The room is only around 255sq foot. While it is reasonably effective; the top collects too much water so it will always make a mess when you have to take the top off to replenish the water & oils.Secondly the unit shuts off with some liquid left in the bottom (see pictures) which unfortunately seems to be a place where a good portion of the oil's gather. This reduces the actual aromatherapy gain from this humidifier as it cannot empty itself to the bottom.Third, the unit seems to last way longer than the "6 hours" it claims on the box. My guess is that they didn't test it for this long and used some estimated calculation instead. It actually lasts for around 9 hours before it runs out.Lastly the unit tends to turn itself off even if its not empty if it is at all at an angle or if you slightly overfill it (you must fill it to 1/4th - 1/6th in before the MAX line). So you must be careful with how you actually fill it each time.I will keep using this day in and day out for my office until I get something better so if it fails in that time I will report back here. This is a very simple desktop / travel humidifier, in the best sense of the word. Plug it in. Pour in water -- watch out for over fill, optionally put in some essential oil drops, and press the power button. That is it. No timer, no lights, just a simple, clean looking tiny humidifier. The looks is very minimalistic. It is not noisy. Great for desktop use.My only issue is that I wish it take a bit more water. Maybe they can have a larger version as well. Recommended.

With its slick and minimalistic design, I had high hopes for this humidifier.However, on its very first use, I could not get it too work. It turns out i had put just a hair above the MAX line.After I dumped a little water out, it worked like it’s supposed to. That was around midnight. By its description on Amazon, it should work for 8hrs.I woke up at 7 to find out the humidifier was already off. And there were plenty of water in its container.Not recommended for its bad engineering and overprice compared to others.

It didn’t work. It would turn on and make noise when filled with water but no steam or mist

Item broke after two weeks. It has been sitting in my bedroom.

This does what is advertised: provide a little (it is a little machine) to a space. It does not leave water droplets on any surface. I am returning it because it make noise. It is not loud. But in a quiet room, it can be heard...it makes a high pitched squeal that for me is annoying to me.
