Thomas & Friends TrackMaster, Thomas & Percy's Railway Race Set

For the $20 range this train track is great. The only difficulty we had was getting the track pieces apart again but you can pretty much just get mad and forcefully rip them apart without them breaking. Lol We had lots of fun playing with this set with our 1 year old (he just turned 1) and the little trains are pretty fast with some good batteries! Sometimes I get toys out of his age range because I get bored and need something to tinker with during playtime so I don’t go stir-crazy. We would always supervise my son but with that being said, he still grabbed, pulled, ripped pieces off and the track held up. Nothing broke. After a few days he stopped trying to destroy things and started playing with it properly without much guidance. He just watched what mom and dad were doing and wanted to do the same.

This was a great buy! My son is always watching Thomas and his friends racing on homemade tracks on YouTube! Finally we can have our own race! The track was very simple to put together and my two year old loves it! He can race all his Track Master trains on it and it is compatible with other Track Master play sets and tracks. This was a good value considering you get two trains with it that alone would be worth $20 together. If your child likes Thomas like my son does , than this set will make them just as happy!

Big hit with the kiddo. The race aspect of this is really engaging for a 4 year old. It was way larger than I expected for the price, probably about 6 feet long all put together. Mostly easy to put together, I messed up the parts and had to switch parts of the track, but that was more user error than fault of the toy. This has survived getting stepped on and the puppy running around with parts as chew toys. So far it still works and I have had it for a few months now.

It's a great set - don't get me wrong. And it comes with two trackmaster engines. While it's a delight to a three year old to see the bridge swing open when everything goes correctly during the big race, it's not worth the hassle of putting the hair trigger right after every race, particularly given the tendency for the button to not work as intended when the train goes over or when the swivel pieces fall off the hinges. Probably designed for a slight bigger child who has more patience and hands to snap the pieces back place.

The media could not be loaded. I got this for a smoking deal during a flash sale and gave it to my 3 year old this Christmas! It was a huge hit! Easy to put together, however I didn’t realize how huge it was... almost 6 feet! Just keep that in mind incase you’re short on storage space like myself!

Great track, my son loves it. He is a very rough and tumble boy, and all of his plastic Thomas tracks have held up amazingly! This one was a super fun addition to our collection. I would absolutely recommend!

So nice to finally have a track that’s exciting. We love having races & laughing as a family. We even try our best to get it to tie every time because it’s so cool to see the two flags pop up at once. We’ve had this track for months, has been moved to different rooms, reassembled & has been one that is noticeably more sturdy than other.

This was my 3yr olds favorite toy for Xmas. It was easy to put together and he thinks its super fun. Its easy for him to use by himself. It's also very light even put together so we can carry it around without having to take it apart.

I bought this for my four and half yr old son. I followed instructions to the T. I noticed some reviews said parts missing so keeping it one one corner of my mind, I still went ahead with the purchase and am very glad I did. It set up perfectly. The bridge opens right at the nick of time because the train on the side of the activation switch always reaches first. The switch track could have been mechanical like the bridge but it is fun hours and hours of play and as an adult I also got very much involved. Great buy! My Thomas lover son loves it very much.

Great item and price!

Good quality and my kids enjoyed it. I hope this toy will last my 1 yr old as he can't get enough of it. He's either putting the toy in his mouth nibbling on it or throwing it around. Time will tell. Good toy.

The set was easy to set up and great fun to play with. Unfortunately the bridge was faulty in that we didn't get all the right parts. The photo of the green bridge shows that the top left guard rail doesn't have the right slots which makes me think that I received two identical bridge parts. Unfortunately this means that the bridge doesn't work as it should. Thankfully this doesn't impact on the track still being fun to play with.

my son is a huge thomas fan and has the thomas and percy race app on my phone, i cant wait for him to open this on his birthday :D
