One of a kind, useful adapter
My Go Bag already had a couple C7 power cords. I added a multi-port USB charger with a "flip out" 2 prong power plug to the bag. I didn't want that charger hanging on the wall or clogging up my little portable power strip. so I got this adapter. Works great. Apparently this is the only one of its kind.Like commenter RonL, I cut off the lever. I have no idea why that gizmo is on this. It's completely unnecessary and adds bulk. It must also add to the cost of making the adapter. Conntek should get rid of the lever and improve the adapter by simplifying it.

Well-made adaptor for specialized tasks
Appears to be very nice quality. I used it to connect an LED plant light panel as a replacement after the original LED panel on an AeroGarden Ultra LED failed. It works very nicely for the task.You may not need an adaptor like this very often, but when you need one this does the job well. I'm glad that this lineup of useful adaptors is available.

Great for travel with figure 8 power cords
I have a long European plug extension cord I use for travel, but some of my devices don't have a figure 8 socket. This had made plugging a regular US standard 2 prong onto the end of that long cord without having to worry about length.

Unique cord connector
If you ever needed to make a stealth extension cord, this is the trick. Buy a 15' power cord for your device and when needed, plug the cable into this. You now have a 15' light duty extension cord.

Handy But Pricey
This is expensive, but very handy. Turns my camera battery charger cord into an extension cord.

C8 to Standard I-15R receptacle
Great hard to find adapter. Allows standard plug to connect to IEC C8, I use a C8 splitter so 1 cord powers multiple items attached to my wall mounted TV. I had a device I needed to connect with a permanently attached plug. Also great for power adapters with plug attached. Great quality adapter!

Perfect for turning a wall wart into a pregnant snake
You can see in the photo that I am using a MacBook extension power cord (left) through the cable adaptor to connect to a high-powered USB-C charger. What you can't see is that I am running 2 MacBooks from it, eliminating one AC adaptor. I used a hacksaw to cut off the Snap-Pop Easy Release since it nearly doubled the size of the adaptor.
