My kitty has some severe gut issues including a strong allergy to fish. It's surprisingly difficult to find a wet food variety pack that doesn't include some type of seafood. This is literally the only variety pack I've found where he can have all of the flavors AND none of the ingredients trigger his health problems. I've been feeding it to him for years at this point and it makes him happy. The smell isn't overpowering - in fact sometimes when I'm hungry it smells pretty damn tempting! It's certainly on the expensive side but as every devoted cat parent knows, giving your fur baby the best quality for their needs that you can afford is worth it.

Cats love it and it is healthy and worth the extra money. Keeps your cat healthy and out of the vet's office.

Great 'new' label. One of my cats is allergic to fish which as I found is an ingredient that you'll find in chicken dinners. Merrick produces food that contain exactly what they advertise. It's not a label that you find readily available wherever pet food is sold so I'm grateful to find it at Amazon.

cats love this food thought would try it from a special sale. if not so pricey would buy more often

My newly adopted rescue cats have “tricky tummies” and limiting ingredients in their food seems to be helping.

My cat ate 2 previous 12 packs of this food but won't eat the food from this case. I'm questioning the authenticity as the cans are not the same as a previous can that the cat liked. The previous can had a recycle symbol in the middle. Also the font on the label is just slightly fuzzy but not much. Also one can had water marks on it despite a sealed case. This could just be poor quality control but it's hard to tell. Also previous versions had some oil making it moist, these cans are just solid with no moisture. I'm going to contact Merrick to see if they want the cans to inspect.

I have been banging around looking for food for our 2 cats. Something with a variety but is also healthier than what we had used in the past. Our cats have not liked pate in the past but our cats did ok with this. Opening the can is reassuring as its a "good color" as in its not a gloopy gray sad color and smells kinda like whats in it as opposed to just "cat food" smell. I found the pate to be much more firm than I am use to so I had to make sure to breakup the product prior to setting down. So in all the product did ok as I look for 3 things 1. Something odd/horrifying things happening in the box. Nothing concerning so good. 2. Will the cats eat it. Yes. The cats generally ate it (some they like more than others but they never refused) 3. Is it easy to serve/dispense. Ehh. like I said its firm to the point where the cats need it broken up/cut up into small pieces, it doesnt spread easy, which can be annoying.

Smells like fresh food. Coat on all 5 looks great and they're all happy with this food (similar to Hills).

It's a favorite with our cats.

Year's ago I bought Merrick dog food for my little silky terrier & he absolutely loved it. Now I've bought the Merrick pate food for our cat's and they gobbled it up! Made with really good ingredients they love the taste. However I am thankful to have purchased it during Prime Days at $19.73 because now it's $49!!! For 12 cans!! I'm stunned. Glad we bought 2 packs at the lower price.
