Excellent hat
Excellent product. Bought this for my cousin with a brain injury. He loves it because you can’t even notice it has a protective layer inside. Definitely worth the money. Fits great. Light weight and breathable.

Great product, great price
This thing is a lifesaver. Very warm. Not so tight as to be uncomfortable but also not so loose that it'll fall off. If I leave it on with glasses for too long, it can get a little uncomfortable. Otherwise it's perfect. And the insert can come out to be used with some reasonable caps/hats if it's too warm for this cap.

Protects the top of your head and keeps you warm at the same time
I had a head injury from a few years ago. Even though my head is OK now, I like to play it safe and protect it a little more than usual. I work in automotive and there are certain times of the year where it gets cold down here. A regular cap isn't good enough for the cold and even though a regular beany keeps my head warm, it doesn't provide me any head protection under hood. This is the best of both worlds. It keeps my head warm and adds a layer of protection to the top of my head. It does look a little bulkier than a regular beany but honestly, you can't tell the difference. My only complaint is that you do have to readjust the plastic cap once in awhile because it can move a bit. I definitely recommend it though.
