Good tool

Needed a spark plug gapper (we USED TO get them for free with the purchase of a box of 8 Champion Spark Plugs - yeah, I'm showing my age). The old circle gapper I had was dropped so many times by both my Son and myself that the dents and chips in the outer gapping ring rendered it useless. I got this to replace the old antiquated gapper I've had in my toolbox for years. This works well. There's a liberal film of oil on the blades and case, so it was rust free (reapply after use to preserve a rust free / accurate set of blade gauges). The price wasn't hateful. It's big enough to use easily, but not so big that it's cumbersome. I'm old so I wish the printing on the blades was bolder / easier to read.... but that's Nature's fault, not the manufacturer. Overall, a good value for the price. Five Stars.

These do what the are intended to do.

This is a good tool. I ordered this to upgrade my older Snap-on set with did not support Metric and only went down to .006. I only have one negative commend to share to Amazon customers that like quality tools . This set is held together by a cheap 4mm .75T screw and HEX nut. It should have a Knurled Thumb Nuts - M4 x .75 8mm Round Knobs in 304 Stainless Steel. When using a feeler gauge you often need this to isolate the leaves during use. How much could addition cost to the vendor to do that? Every quality feeler gauge comes with one of these.

Gauge mess up wrongs thickness

This was one of the only ones I could find that went this small. Kinda weird sizes. But presumably that’s cause they are mapping imperial to their metric. But get the job done. Would buy again if needed—but this one will last.

Worked great

This is about the 32-piece feeler gauge set from Handook. My set came as pictured, held together by a knurled nut and dripping light machine oil. Cleaning them up enough to use was the first job. These are “stainless steel” by some standard, clearly not totally rust-proof. If it matters, it looks like they are gauged in metric units and then marked with nearest SAE equivalents. I didn’t put a micrometer on them, although others say they have checked out. Stamped or printed markings are faint but usable. Finish is decent, no rough or sharp edges. The yoke that holds the set together is strong enough. I really can’t use the benefits of an $80 set of leaf gauges. I’ll be fine with these because I can accept their limits.
