Good value keyboard for a Kindle HD Fire 7" (original-2012-13)
The keyboard is pretty good for the asking price here on Amazon. Despite what some other reviews have wrote, I felt the keyboard provided adequate feedback. Its not as good as an Apple keyboard or a good PC cliclet keyboard, but its not garbage. The Keyboard provided enough feedback to let me know that a key has been pressed without having to look at the screen or the keyboard. I have typed full keyboard with both hands for 35 years averaging 68-70 wpm. I learned to type back in the day when the middle school I attended could only afford those ancient and heavy Royal mechanical typewriters from the 1950s. I'm not a big fan of chiclet keyboards on desktop computers, but I think they are acceptable for a portable device. The EC Technology Bluetooth 3.0 keyboard is about what you can expect from similar chiclet keyboards used in today's computers. For me its fine since its designed for a portable device. Its very light and thin. The keys don't have the slight indent I've seen in some other keyboards, but on the positive side, the keys are the correct size. The left and right shift keys as well as enter key have an appropriate size and are located where a full keyboardist expect them to be. I wish the notches on the F and J keys were a little more pronounced to facilitate finding the home positions quickly without looking. My one grip about this keyboard is that it tends to go to sleep much to quickly. I really wish it wouldn't go to sleep so quickly. I have found the first or second keystrokes are not transmitted to the device when its in a power saving mode. I have adjusted for this by tapping on a shift key two seconds before I actually begin typing. It's annoying to see the first or second keystrokes absent and then having to go back to edit a document or a password login. My recommendation to others, if you plan to use a keyboard very often in a stationary location and portability isn't a requirement for you, then you might want to consider a better Bluetooth keyboard. And if portability is important and you expect a keyboard to be able to work in difficult situation for you out in the field, you might want to consider a heavy-duty keyboard, perhaps an Apple Aluminum cliclet. But for portability and low cost, this keyboard is fine.

Good Substitution.
Bought this for my Samsung Series 9 Ultrabook in black. Love the white but it wouldn't go along with my system. Operating system Windows 8.1.Pros: Arrived on time, good packaging, plug-in play, aesthetically nice, instructions card (somewhat helpful), keys are receptive to touch (don't need to slam on keys), portable, energy efficiency, and durable, great customer service. Someone from their company emailed me a friendly email regarding the hot keys, and if I had any questions just direct them back (attentive to consumers-absolutely love).Cons: EC tech logo printed on the space bar (hate it), wake the keyboard up from being idle/sleep takes a few seconds (not a big deal), smaller keyboard so it takes a bit of typing to get used to the keys location, Chiclets are a bit loud (but not that annoying).Note that it was created for Apple devices, so for those with PC/tablets/Android phones etc, will struggle with keyboard's hot keys. Haven't run into any problems with the functionality of hot keys, but here are a few differences I've noticed:Delete from L to R = no longer [delete] key, but Fn + Del (in blue-upper right corner)Delete from R to L = normal [delete] key. In web browser, this key is the BACK function, which allows you to go back to previous web page.Command key = Windows 8.1 tile page, click again will bring back to desktop mode, and vice verseESC key (on here it's the key with a square on it-left upper corner) = in browser, new tab. If you're working on an application, pressed, and it will reopened the last application/programs/activity. Surf through different applications that are running.F1 = google chrome helpOption/Alt with lock symbol key = lock keyboardOther hot keys work as the picture indicated, so they're self-explanatory. Overall, definitely will be ordering more for other systems around the house. Maybe a full keyboard.

Bluetooth EC tch keyboard works with Android
I like the keyboard. It has a quick rsponse time, the keys are comfortable to use with my Samsung Galaxy Tab2 tablet, and I am gradually finding my way around the keyboard, since the symbols do not always correspond with what the keyboard shows. I was happy to find accents as I use a lot of French in my writing, but they were found by chance, by experimentation. That is OK, I just have to note down the way to type certain symbols or characters. I had to try to connect three times before it worked, but that is a quick process, so no problems. I like the keyboard, so anyone without the IPAD (whch it is made for) should not be afraid to try it with an Android device. I can type 10 times faster using it than I can using the Galaxy' s on-board keyboard, and I make less mistakes. It is fine for what I want itto do.

Type with easy
I have been looking for a keyboard that was Bluetooth and easy to carry. This is just the ticket. I have a windows 8 tablet, and I have two offices. I wanted to be able to have a keyboard at each office without carrying a big one around with me. I bought two of these keyboards and couldn't be happier. The keyboard is extremely thin, but has full sized keys and the traditional HP keyboard layout except for the Esc key. I am able to simply turn the keyboard on and type on my tablet instantly. I really could carry it with me easily and could have purchased only one, but at the low price of $12.00, I am happy I have one at each office. I also bought a Bluetooth mouse for $12.00 and have a complete computer with these additions. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to avoid the slower method of data entry that on-screen keyboards offer on tablets. I love it!
