Good overall
These are easy to read and more accurate than the thermometer strips you can stick on the side of the tank. The only negative is that the suction cups are terrible. I fixed the problem by putting mounting squares in the cups and squishing them onto the glass.

Suction not good
Works great but suction cups don't work

Great Value
This multi-pack was a great value. Having four was a bonus, because it helped me determine better accuracy for which one to use on my fish tanks. They were only off by 1-2 degrees between the four of them.

Good thing I can do +1 in my head
I tested these all in the same cup of water when they arrived. 3 out of 4 that I got are within 0.2 degrees of each other so that's good in my book. The 4th is off by 1 degree and also has trouble staying in Fahrenheit mode. It flickers between F and C if I touch it. The 3 good ones are on par with my classic style thermometer.

Comparison with other thermometers
I gave a 4 out of 5 rating because the suction cups are terrible (they are part of the product). Plastic is too stiff and does not maintain suction. As far as the thermometer goes, I ordered the Ivosun 4 pack to handle a few different tanks. To compare I set all 4 thermometers in my 70gal tank. The results were pretty good as far as common temp accuracy.4 Ivosun digital thermometers ranged 78.6 - 79.1 deg, average 78.8 deg.4 Floating thermometers ranged 76 - 79 deg, average 76.5 deg.1 Topfin digital at 79.7 deg. (now in the spare parts box).Berrcom handheld digital IR thermometer @ 7 separate surface temp readings average 78.8 deg.Hope this helps make a decision. Now it's a matter of time to see how they hold up. At this point I wouldn't have a problem buying more.

Pool thermometer
Perhaps not the intended use, but we use this for our Pool/Hottub thermometers. We leave the probes in, and I built a small base to keep the thermometer display stable outside of the pool. They generally last 2-3 seasons. At this price point, it works well!

Not accurate even with each other
I bought a pack of four; one of them varied 9 degrees from another one in the same tank! There are instances when a ballpark temp will do, but I need to know if my tank, when set to 80 degrees, is that or 90 or 70. The best of the bunch was close at 2 degrees, but you can't have that kind of variation in small tanks or with certain species. I don't trust these for my tanks.

Excellent Value
These work great and can't beat the value. I would buy again if needed.I only needed two but found use for the extras when making saltwater for my tank. Now I can ensure the new water I'm putting in my tank is the correct temperature - keeping my fish and corals from getting stressed.

Happy so far.
Only using 2 of them right now. The temperatures .2°F within each other when in the same tank. If they keep working this way, they would be a good value for the money.

Complete garbage don't buy
Purchased approx 4 months ago and all but 1 does not give even close to accurate temp. Temp is actually 81 and they say 72. I even purchased new batteries just in case and the temp still completely wrong. Save your money and just buy a glass thermometer or a laser way more reliable.

Dose the job.
For the price, it’s a good buy. We are currently only using two, one works great the other you have to apply pressure to see the numbers properly.
