Denso(5310) IK22 Iridium Power Spark Plug, (Pack of 1)

These are almost impossible to get at a parts store. They had them here and for a good price.

While the plugs were as expected and all gaps were as they should, I was not thrilled how they shipped. The box did not have any packing materials. I bought four plugs and they were shipped In their individual boxes rather than in the box of four they come from the manufacture. To top it off I got three from one shipping location and One from another.

This engineer is one of the guys who does ignition systems engineering for....well, one of the Detroit based US auto makers and he previously worked for a MAJOR spark plug manufacturer as a spark plug design tester in the engine dyno lab.He told me that Denso was one of the top plugs available.These are great plugs, and the price is great.

Replaced OEM plugs on a 2011 Chevy Cruise with these at 130K miles. Gap on old plugs had eroded considerably. Expect these plugs to give good service longer than orginal.

I'm on my 3rd set in my supercharged Toyota tacoma, running strong! One of 6 was gapped different from the others, I did set the gap on them to factory spec (more than what they come with, the truck has a very robust ignition system and can handle an increase in gap) (they came gapped around 0.025", I set them to 0.043")

Received what was supposed to be Iridium spark plugs from Denso, box was correct, obviously these were returned items that had cheaper non-Iridium plugs from NGK substituted in the boxes. Warning, always check the product to make sure its what you paid for, the Denso plugs were $10.00 each while the NGK plugs were $3.00 each! Second provided replacements were the correct plugs.

Came a day earlier put them in my bpu supra and holy cow the misfire I was having in the high rpm is gone now

Works just fine. Can't tell a difference when new compared to NGK 2667 (BKR7EIX), but, at nearly 15,000 miles, my MPG's have gotten a lot worse. NGK's lasted to 20,000 miles before I noticed a difference. If NGK offered these in their Twin-Tip configuration (in the appropriate gap), it would be great.
