This could not be better. The paper is obviously hand made with some thickness variations, is a great bright white color, and has a wonderful feel. The journal feels well made, is very light weight and a perfect size to keep in your day pack while traveling. Best of all it just feels special, just a perfect place for those once in a lifetime memories!

I honestly can't say enough about the quality craftsmanship and art that goes into making these journals. The journal cover is handmade of wool. It's soft and a beautiful gray from the combination of black and white wool. And the handmade Lokta bush (no trees were harmed) paper is wonderful. Do yourself a favor and buy one of these pieces of art. You won't regret it.

I got this as an anniversary gift for my girlfriend and she loved it! It is great quality, so you really do get what you pay for! The paper is very cool because it is made by hand from a certain plant that is environmentally sustainable! It seems like authentic leather and it has a great natural smell to it. I would totally recommend this as a gift for a creative person who is a fan of art or journaling!

I got this for my girlfriend and she absolutely adores the rough edges on the pages and the wool cover. The book is built well and it is bound very well. There are plenty of pages to write in and makes for very fun looking journal entries.

This woolen book is really beautiful, it is just a unique piece! It is what it is though, the paper is excellent but very finicky. So bleeds right through, needs at least a 140 weight 5x7 blotter to keep in between pages when working with any inks or markers, even pencil I find the stiffness of a good piece of watercolor paper in between very helpful. Sketch pencils work well, use a soft eraser. Parker Jotter foutain pen writes nicely but bleeds through, sharpies blob right out, water color is useable but needs blotter or plastic in between. Paste up works with glue stick but pages are very light and glue stick will easily wrinkle up page so put glue on cut out.Four for Finicky ;))))))Dave

It's a beautiful journal!!!! However, it is VERY difficult to write on the pages. It is not functional AT ALL.

A joy to touch and to write in. While I was using it, everyone wanted to feel it and examine it. It also stood up to an emergency trip through the drier after a bedbug incident, something one never wants to have to test, but it passed with flying colors. It's full now.
