used foil tape to mark furniture stations for social distancing at HOA pool
To provide for social distancing at our HOA pool this summer, we grouped pool furniture groupings (stations) separated by an 8 foot distance. We used the foil tape to mark the edges of these furniture stations. The yellow tape is reflective and is very visible. We used a rubber mallet to pound the foil tape down onto the concrete pool deck surface. The tape adheres well and has not pulled up. We like this foil tape because we can remove the foil tape at the end of the swim season using a pressure washer and the concrete pool deck is untouched.

Good method to mark a pickleball court on asphalt.
You hammer this self adhesive aluminum tape onto the asphalt with a rubber mallet which creates a solid adhesion. I used this on my driveway with excellent results and ease of use.

Good tape but adhesion issues
The tape is very good in appearance and ease of application.. It's easy to trim to size and shape. The plastic beads are highly reflective. The tape adheres well and lies flat at first. But I'm using it to stripe the slightly curved surface of a speed bump, and the tape tends to lose its adhesion to the asphalt under heavier loads such as truck or trailer tires. Under these loads the ends of the tape peel up and the surface gets puckered. The speed bump is new asphalt but has not been seal coated. The tape would probably adhere better to a sealed and less porous surface. So far I've gone through two rolls (one set of stripes is about 24 feet--I pulled up the first set and tried a second time), and I'm afraid in the end I'll have to do the paint job I was trying to avoid.

Sharp Metal tape and very sticky.
Pretty easy to install although cutting the tape could be a hassle sometimes due to the stickiness. Also, do NOT place on the very edge of a step because people that scuff their feet will snag the ends and tear the tape up. Place tape end about a 1/4 inch before the edge to keep this from happening. Make sure you have a rubber hammer to lightly tap the tape into the nooks and crannies of the concrete. Very bright and noticeable! Would buy again!

Honestly disappointed
At the end of the tape it was all melted and rippled I was hoping that it would be fine in the meantime to try and put it in the asphalt but it totally was tearing and ripping

Good tape to put outside on concrete slab (docking area)
Met my expectation. Better than paint. Cannot wait to see if this will stick during Wisconsin winter.

Works best in low-traffic areas
I purchased this tape for a concrete floor. The instructions recommended washing the floor, letting it dry, and then treating it with Concrete Cement (a thick glue). The tape has an adhesive backing which sticks well to the cured contact cement, especially when you use a roller. Due to the thickness of the tape, it is fairly easy for the edges to peel up and rip when the front of a shoe catches it, or if a tire rotates on the tape edge. High traffic areas will require replacement over time. Compared to the alternative of painting the floor, however, this is easy, and the reflective material make this useful in the dark.
