I was hesitant to buy this actually. I normally read the bad reviews first to see the potential issues.There were complaints about the magnet wouldn’t stay in place. So I was pretty hesitant.Before I bought this, I bought an 98$ dual monitor just like this in Cottageder website, it came up from facebook ads, I thought it was valid, so my order never arrived. Im pretty pissed of why Facebook would allow fraudulant ads in there.anyway, so i bought this our of desperation.I had very low expectation obviously. But shipment came just after a day (i have to mention it since amazon have pretty great shipment.When I opened it, it was very easy to setup. You have to follow the instruction how to attach it to the back of your computer, there is a reason why you had to stick magnets from your computers back and stick it to the sticky magnet of the monitor, this makes the adhesive work better, with magnets on both sides, it makes it very stable and not wobbly at all like what others complained.Resolution of the monitor is so good, even better than my laptop.Only negative is, the mouse movement is intermittently slow, which means rendering is felt, its not seamless. not sure if its bec of my specs? but I have 8cpu, and pretty reasonable space, so not sure.but overall, it is an excellent purchase. super happy with it. i will recommend this product.putting 5 star rating.

I am waiting for their competitor to give me my two 17" slide display (yes it's coming out) this one is a great addition as a backup. The Main complaint is the physical mechanic features. It's flimsy but I perfectly understand as it's made to be light and easy to take off and back on. You will likely fight with it and determine that it will get the feeling this will break in six months as you try to push it back in and snap*. Otherwise it does work as intended, picture is acceptable for 12.5 inch and is much better than bringing out another monitor manually through a case. I got this for $200 dollars and feel it's acceptable for the new tech but the pricing they are asking at 300$ is something I would not recommend.BTW warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. Means if it snaps...it's on you.Update 4/26/2020: For those that use this purely for business especially during this outbreak, I can honestly say me using this a total of a month's worth, this is currently, as we speak, resetting the connection repeatedly which is forcing me to stop using this. Mind you I have a state-of-the-art laptop with i9, 64 GB ram so it can handle ANYTHING it can throw at it, and it keeps going off and on. I would not recommend this product unless there is a fix for this issue.Update 5/6/2020: This product is constantly turning off and on. I am convinced it needs more voltage and does not have enough. When I check in the administrative logs, driver logs, nothing is showing there is an issue. Yet when I apply it on a powered usb, it works. This defeats the purpose of having a "portable" monitor. At least have it powered by two usb ports. Waste of money, don't get it.

Being told we’re working from home another 3 weeks, I knew I couldn’t keep working with just one monitor without losing my mind. I was also told by our IT department I’d need a docking station for a portable monitor and I wasn’t taking that as a practical answer and decided to take a chance on this. Thankfully it works flawlessly with the downloaded driver and is going to be a life saver working from home. Once you’re used to 2 monitors, working with one is misery. This comes off if I know I’m staying in the office or I can leave it on if I’ll be working in different offices that day and want the dual screens. If you pull it out until you hear the click, it’s sturdy and works great! I waited for a year to buy this because I thought it was too expensive for what it was; however I feel I should have got it a year ago and saved myself the headache.Keep in mind, if you have a work issued computer, you’ll need an admin to allow changes to the hard drive to download the driver.

They called back and it was a security issue. It is now working very well. The only reason for 4 star is the issue was not easily found on their site. As many times as I was there I never saw that fix.This is my second one and the first installed easily onto my dell laptop that is why I purchased this one for my Macbook Pro using Catalina 10.15.1 Installed and uninstalled four times and it still doesn’t work. It says the name (Photo 1)and you are to wait 2.5 minutes. After 8 hours it is still blank (photo 2). I have gone to every YouTube or their site troubleshooting to no avail. So I called their customer support during business hours and had to leave a message that they would call back between now and one day. Well I’m trying to use while traveling so it is very frustrating. They should have better tech support for the price. I will gladly write another review if they call me back. I own my business and if I had a message like that for my customers I wouldn’t have been in business for 28 years.
