A Good Accessory Kit for the Canon SX530
I purchased this kit for the polarizing filter for a Canon SX530HS. It comes with a 67mm threaded adapter ring that can be tricky to install the first time. Don't force it. Just turn it and look at it. It will make sense. Or watch the YouTube video from the company. The ring sets securely in place when properly installed. It does not interfere with lens motion. As with all lens add-ons, you need to be aware of its effect on the picture. The additional filters will cast a shadow with the flash on close-in shots. It is better to stand further back and zoom in than to move closer in this case. It's also better for flash dispersion, in my opinion. Also, the lens hood must be folded to the correct length for the effective length of the lens or you will see it in the corners. Again, not a problem, just something the photographer needs to be aware of. Since the SX530 is a point and shoot camera, you won't see the problem until after the picture is taken. When adding on to a lens, always check the outcome before walking away from the shot. That's a good general practice, anyway. All in all, the kit is very handy and brings some nice features to to the SX530, especially the polarizing filter. The neutral filter also acts as a handy protection for the camera lens, but be aware of its potential to cast a shadow with close-in and macro shots.

Great value - ideal for my Powershot SX530 HS
Very good value. My equipment - Powershot SX530 HS. I'm being clear about this because some people have had difficulty fitting the adapter but unclear about which camera they're using it with. The adapter fits perfectly...it took a couple of attempts to get it on, but if you do so in good light you will see how the slots line up. Use firm pressure (not too much) to rotate the adapter in place and you can leave it on...works great. The string on the lens cap is a bit pathetic but I'm not going to dock it a star for that.Everything else fits nicely. Results with the filters TBD since I just got it this week.Update - UV filter works well...definitely crisper colors with this...lake photos with lots of glare came out well....circular polarised filter is a bit of trial and error...it's impossible to see on screen what effect it's having so you have to take a bunch of shots to get what you want. 5 star review stands...photo deficiencies more down to the way the camera works.

Good optical quality, nice assortment of attachments, threads seemed a bit off.
I like everything that comes with this set. I just did a review for another brand of filters that truly sucked in comparison to these. I'm quite happy with the optical quality. The only reason they get a 4 star rating is that I found it difficult to line up the threads of the filters with the adapter that came with the set. The filters from the other brand lined up and threaded in without any issue (so did the lens hood that came with this set) but the filters themselves just seemed to not line up easily / well

Don't be Alarmed - Great for PowerShot Digitals
I bought this kit for my Canon SX530 HS. I was really concerned when I looked at the 67mm opening for the lens cap, and thought it was much too large for my smaller 530 lens. The adapter ring was difficult to figure out, and there weren't instructions on how to install it. Hint: it goes backward from the direction you might initially assume, and you will need to play with it to get it to fit securely. However, once it is on...This product is great. The filters are a good value for the money (they come in a surprisingly excellent case that can fit into your camera bag easily), the lens hood is a good product, and the cleaning rag is a great added feature. This was definitely worth investing $35 to extend the lifespan of my camera lens, particularly in the UV-intensive environments I'm shooting in Arizona. Great product, I would recommend it to any Canon user.

You get what you pay for.
I am a long-time Canon user with a collection of good lenses and filters. I know how gentle you need to be with the threads when installing and removing filters. I bought a 530 HD for one of my sons who was looking for an upgrade to his iPhone. Wanted to get a UV filter to protect the lens and this looked like a pretty good deal with the addition of two more filters, a hood, cloth, etc... The problem is that the filters are 67mm and the 530 lens is 58mm (I think). This kit included an adapter, but it is injection molded out of a soft-ish plastic. The adapter bayonet mounts to the lens which fit OK, but it was just about impossible to get the lens to screw into the adapter. I know how patient you have to be to do this and it finally felt like it was threading. I went maybe halfway around and it didn't feel right. I tried to back out and it would not budge. I removed both from the camera so as not to damage the lens and then really tried to twist the adapter and filter apart with my fingers. Then the glass filter popped loose, didn't break or fall out, just rattled around. So I threw the whole kit away. Should have known better. I've made plenty of more expensive mistakes. Perhaps I did something wrong, but the filter should not have fallen apart from the amount of pressure I applied with my fingers.

Great lens set
The set of 3 lenses with the adapter ring fits the Canon Powershot SX60 IS very well. It is great to have the adapter ring, giving the ability to use the variety of lenses on the camera. The included larger lens cover cap is nice because it is needed with the lenses attached to the camera. The included rubber lens shade works great for keeping the sun from shining into the lens. It has 3 different extensions: short, medium, and full extension, which makes it versatile. When pushed back to the shortest length, it helps to protect the lens. I'm excited to use these items with my new camera when I go to Canada later this year.
