This is the way
Best brush bristles out there for bouldering. Compared to others, the evolv wooden handle brush is close, but the Lapis are better. Sublime and flashed brushes always take a backseat in my bag to these.

Great!
Nice brush! The head is a little too long, not sure if this is good or bad. The hairs seem very resistant but we ll see with some time.

Favorite piece of climbing gear!
I love the Boar's hair brush. I've been bouldering for a while now and I'm really into it. My boyfriend gave me my first Boar's hair brush and I was instantly addicted. They just do the most amazing cleaning job I've seen of all the brushes I've known. They are a small size that gets into little crimps (my favorites) well. I use it for outdoor climbing and indoor climbing. It works fantastically for both. I highly recommend them to everyone because holds get so greasy, filled with chalk, and covered in shoe rubber. The boar's hair helps for your absolutely best chance of a send by providing you with rock to grip and not all the stuff that ends up on top of it. They also brush away tick marks you may use for yourself well, leaving the rock clean for new climbers to have a blank slate. I love these brushes so much!

Not very durable
I bought two of these because of the price and they had pretty good reviews. I keep one on my chalk bag and the other I made a stick-brush with. Today was the first day I used the stick-brush and the thin part of the plastic (just below the boar hair bristles and above the handle) started to bend and wear with only average pressure. I would guess I have a couple more times of using the stick-brush like I did today, until it breaks in half.On the other hand, the one I use for holds that I can reach on my own is still solid and in tact. And on both the boar hair works great and is not falling out like one would expect a cheaply made brush to.Maybe get a heavier duty brush if you're planning to use it for making a stick brush or scrubbing holds hard at awkward angles..

The real deal
Haven't had any issues with this brush yet. Have been using it indoors and it works way better than most brushes I've used before. First, you don't have to scrub hard or use any force, just gently brush over the holds and it just glides along and the brush itself has a bit of flex to it. Although I don't try to flex the brush much, it seems to hold up very well when put to the test. Still holds it's shape over countless months of use.

... 10 years and this is still one of my favorite climbing brushes
Iv'e been climbing for over 10 years and this is still one of my favorite climbing brushes. Actually bough another to replace the one I lost! Natural bustles are really the best for cleaning plastic or rock, and the narrowness of the head combine with the length maximizes the surface area you can clean while still letting you get into the little nooks and crannies. It's simple and effective and long lasting.

ONE brush. Not a set!
It is NOT clear that this is a SINGLE brush and not a set. I shouldnt have to look all over the page and read reviews and research etc. To know what I am buying. You have no color choice (sent a random one?) Skirting the line of false advertising. Dissapointed. I wont shop from this company again.

Great Boar's Hair Brush, but Easily Breakable
This brush works extremely well. The only brush I have to compare it to is the boar's hair brush that comes with the Black Diamond brush kit. The Lapis works better than that brush mainly because it is shaped in a way that allows it to reach into incut crimps and small huecos a little easier. Also, the bristle go allt he way to the edged of the plastic, so there is no extra plastic preventing you from getting the bristle to reach right to the surface you are trying to brush. My only complain is that i can feel the brush flex quite a bit at the neck--just under where the bristle end before the handle part of the brush. If I brush too hard, I could probably snap the brush right at that point, so anyone using this brush needs to be careful. Some friends of mine have actually had a Lapis Boar's Hair Brush break at the exact point I'm describing.Another word of advice--try to stick with the bright, unnatural colors. If you get their more earthy colored brushes, I believe you'll being increasing your risk of losing the brush amongst scrubby forrest floors/desert sands/etc.

Expensive and a complete joke...
Complete ripoff. Expected the size to be bigger from pictures online. 30$ for a small and weak brush? Ridiculous. Amazon is great, and this pathetic item should not be on this website. Never buying from Lapis ever again.TLDR: Brush hair weak, too expensive, small
