Not a lot there.
Parts of this booklet (itโs 34 pages) have been photocopied so many times the illustrations are practically useless. Was hoping for more.

For a Booklet it is AMAZING
I would have paid twice the price knowing what I do now. this book is GREAT!!! I ordered several books on the AK47. The only book I bought that had more info than this one cost 5 times as much. I still think this booklet as It is not a full size book but more the booklet size. Is worth more than they ask for it. Lots of line drawings and some fair pictures. Not great but It is to the point on the AK47. Yes I have more expensive ones and the one I am thinking of is great but I would still keep this one to look at.dray

I have not yet had a chance to read this whole book.
I have not yet had a chance to read this whole book. I purchased it as a reference book. From what I have scene so far it is clear concise and provides the information I need to work on and AK-47 type rifle.

Read Any Good Books Lately?
very interesting little manual and a great companion to the AK cleaning mat (which also has an exploded parts diagram and parts list).

Small, incomplete, outdated
If you're really into AKs and want to collect everything you can about them, get this pamphlet. However, let's be clear: this is a little pamphlet that looks like a few sheets of A4 photocopies folded over and stapled. Quality of illustrations is extremely poor, the history is short and sketchy, and the "cleaning and firing" information looks like it was simply translated from an Eastern Bloc field manual. Both are useless: the cleaning section ignores modern materials and ammunition, and the firing section simply tells you what happens when you pull the trigger on semi-auto of full-auto. There is no information on "how to shoot" the gun, and no information on how to clean it using modern lubricants and non-corrosive ammunition. Really, the only part of this worth reading is the brief country-by-country history. If you want to know how to disassemble and clean the gun, look it up on Youtube and you will get better instructions. If you want to know how to shoot the thing, take a class. This was worth the $4.50 I paid for it, but the people asking $30, or even $40 are utterly out of it! Worth no more than $5, and only then for serious collectors.
