Such a useful tool. The guard protects when not being used. Is sturdy and very sharp which makes the guard needed. Easy and quick to use as can grate both ways. Very good for adding cheese to foods.

A great little microplane grater. I've found it to be very effective for hard cheese, citrus zest and ginger. It's a quite coarse for zesting, but it's easy to use and I don't mind my zest being a little zestier. I'm just a home cook though, certainly not a professional chef, so take that as you will

I love this tool, so easy to use and sharp. I mainly use it for zesting or grating Parmesan cheese. The zest and cheese are both a fine consistency and the tool will grate close to the rind on both.

Great zester and parmesan grater. Extremely sharp and will easily grate your fingers if not carful. My wife and I both grated our fingers! Even though we warned each other!

Using this in a hotel kitchen, it’s micro blades are very sharp, great for grating cheeses and similar foods but when zesting lemon or lime there is a tad too much taken off the fruit, it is almost down to the flesh when used. Overall good product

This zests perfectly, it is very sharp and fine so requires very little pressure reducing the amount of white flesh taken off to nigh on zero. The downside, if you do not take care, is that it takes pink flesh off with the same ease as pith so unless you want to turn your gratings pink keep your fingers well clear. Excellent for parmesan and other hard cheese too.
