Love it
Its very handy I think for any crafter. I like this one quite a but I bought a different off brand combo pack that had some similar rings but they turned my finger colors after wearing for a day or 2. However this ring I have worn everyday since I bought it. and NO DISCOLORATION!! it makes me happy

Too big
This was very big for me. I have crimped it down as far as I can and it is still too big.

Best Thimble I've found!!
I have not tried them all, but of all I've tried (about 15 different varities) this is my favorite. It is adjustable, fits my finger best, doesn't fall off, and it also allows for longer nails. It's very comfortable to use. My only problem is finding the one I have. I generally work on several projects at once and it's always with the one I'm not working on. So I'm buying a couple more - Voilà - problem fixed. There are similar open sided thimbles to this that are lined with a silicone layer but it doesn't slide on nicely (since there is silicone), and those just feel thick and awkward. I've even tried those thin bands which are also lined with silicone but my needle always ends up where they are not. Ouch! I've tried the standard metal round thimbles we all grew up with which have never fit and fall off. I never figured out how people used those. Glue maybe? I've tried several leather thimbles which I do like, but they can be a bit thick and I spend more time trying to keep them on my finger than I do sewing.I'm finished searching for and trying out new thimbles. I found one that works great for me. This is it!

Good quality thimble
I like Clover Brand. I have bought many of their products through the years for knitting, crochet. I’m getting into sewing now. I wanted a thimble I could wear while hand sewing. I think this is the thimble for this purpose. It fits well on my middle finger. It is adjustable. The lower part fits good. It’s a little loose on top. The thimble may not stay in place while hand sewing without a little adjustment here and there. I expect to get many years use from this thimble. I would recommend this product.

Great for long nails
This thimble is comfortable and functional. Its open design doesn’t get as sweaty as closed thimbles and it also accommodates my long nails as well. My only complaint is that coppery smell my finger has after use, but at least I know it’s real metal!

Works for me!
I am just starting out in hand quilting after years of machine quilting (which started to feel more like work than a hobby) and purchased this thimble after watching a video where the quilter highly recommended it. I haven't compared it to many others, but it is by far my favorite. I am getting ready to order a second since my 19 month old seems to like it as well :P (I tried offering him a cheapo regular thimble, but he has no interest in it. He puts my clover one on and pokes at the fabric imitating what I am doing. Just a matter of time before the monkey causes it to disappear when I am not paying attention.) I have logged quite a few hours with it already. My main complaint is that since I use doubled up thread and the way I hold my hand it sometimes gets tangled on the back adjusters, but I am sure that's just a personal problem ;)

Smart little thimble
This has saved my finger when I am knitting. My index finger pushes the knitting needle tip and it was hurting me so much. I saw this little odd looking thimble and decided to try it. I am so glad I did. I wrap it around the first joint of my index finger and it protects me perfectly and still lets me use my finger tip to hold and move my yarn and does not impede the movement of my finger. This is a really cleaver invention. If it sounds like something that would work for you, get it! You will not be disappointed.
