I love it!
I've been using this for work and it's been doing great! Writes well and I love the feel and the weight to it. I've been wanting to move towards a pen that I can refill as I'm tired of having to buy new pens when they run out. This was a perfect solution. It's beautiful and comes for a reasonable price. I'll have to see how it holds up in the coming months but I feel confidant in its durability. There is some smearing from time to time but that could be the type of ink I'm using. I'm new to fountain pens so that I don't know how to gage. Nonetheless I'd say it's a great starter pen. Super easy to fill and use!

Sleek, Smooth, and Seriously Affordable!
I wasn't expecting much for the price, but the Silver Birch Forest Aluminum Fountain Pen completely blew me away. This thing writes like a dream—smooth, precise, and with that satisfying glide you usually only get from pens triple the price. The **extra fine nib** is perfect for detailed writing, and the ink flow is consistent without any annoying skips or blobs. On top of that, the **build quality is surprisingly solid**—the aluminum body feels premium in the hand, and the included **converter and metal case** make it feel like a luxury item. And let’s be honest: this pen **looks cool as hell**. The sleek, forest-metal finish gives serious "I write bestselling novels in my spare time" energy. For the price? It’s a **ridiculous steal**. Whether you're a pen nerd or just want to look sharp signing receipts, this one's a no-brainer.

Easily slide across the paper
I appreciate the pen's smooth writing speed, quality, and attractive appearance. Do you have to push down to make your ballpoint pen work, I find it easy to use and a good first fountain pen for beginners. The sleek metal body has a ideal grip and produces thin lines with little effort. Feels solid construction, reliable, and well-made pen that feels solid in the hand. Good value for money, ideal ink flow.A brand new pen , that never had ink before. I would go outside and flick the pen to get the ink to shoot out then write on paper and let it REST pointing down towards the nib for three three days or more to allow for ink to collect for proper flow and you'll have an EXCELLENT pen that you'll be happy with you never have to push hard on the paper ever. The cap can come off and be attached to the back end of the pen. I enjoy dark green color. All ink is on your own purchase. I enjoyed the videos on how to add ink to the pen for refills.Enjoy, thanks

2'nd Best Budget Fountain Pen
I got both the Stainless Steel and the Silver Pens. I am pleased with both of them; they have a lovely weight and write smoothly. The Xtra Fine Nib writes just fantastic and doesn't skip or anything. My only major complaint is that the friction fit of the cap on my stainless steel pen is now almost non-existent; multiple times, the cap has come off while just sitting in my pocket or in its case, and the cap just slides off. The other pen doesn't have this issue, it is only the stainless one. Overall, I'd say it is worth the money. In terms of budget fountain pens, the Jinhao Shark will still wipe the floor with this one, but if you are looking for something cheap and nice this fits the bill.TLDR: Great for the price. Looks great, writes great; be warry of ordering the stainless one and if you do, keep an eye on the cap snap.

Quality ink pen at an affordable price
I use the pen for drawing. The ink flow is good and it holds a fair amount of ink. I haven’t noticed any clogging issues with the nib. It draws smoothly and without interruptionsThe pen without the cap is quite light and feels balanced, but with the cap attached, it seems a bit top heavyI chose the green/gold color, which is very attractive, imo. It comes with a converter, which is sturdy and easy to use. I purchased some extra converters here on Amazon.I also picked up some additional nibs for the pen. I haven’t used them yet, but they are easy to install (you just screw them on) and seem good qualityI don’t have a lot of experience using fountain pens, but so far, this one appears to be a decent quality pen for a relatively low price

More Than 5 Stars
Okay so I have bought at least one of every color. These pens are AWESOME! They are durable and fit so well in the hand. Each one is easy to hold and is smooth against the paper. Ink flows out it perfectly. I, personally, chose the extra fine nib and gosh is it extra fine. I will ALWAYS recommend these to anyone who wants to write with a fountain pen. If I could give it more than five stars, I would.

Excellent for those new to fountain pens and those used to using them.
Definitely like these pens. I've always preferred fountain pens because, even if you run out of ink cartridges, you can use them as a dip pen. I've a friend who makes homemade ink and I've used, more than once, fountain pens like this none with it and they've always worked beautifully.I bought two of these. One for me, one for my younger brother. And while I'm quite used to writing with fountain pens, he is not. He's finding that it works very well for him. I especially like the fact the nib is a very fine tip, so it writes very smoothly with the ink flowing neatly without blotting or leaking. That is one problem I tend to have with many fountain pens, especially the larger, more decorative, ones with skulls and such. I like those, too, but they often leak.I will be getting more of these, and a replacement for another pen I lost as well.I definitely recommend these.
