Sound is very cool!
It does sound like an old car, purchased it for a 1950 Pontiac it was easy to install and it’s a good addition to your old car

It’s good for what it is
The media could not be loaded. The other reviews only confused me so I had to give it a try for myself, good siren for the price, but don’t expect it to sound like a federal siren that just coast forever, but I like it because it’s loud and sounds deep enough for me with a little coast. A big federal or one of the vintage sirens requires a lot of power, your connection are like battery cables and a big electric solenoid. With this 12 or 14 gauge wire is sufficient. I added a 30 amp relay but you can get away without one.Pros…. Doesn’t make your lights dim.Cons…. It ain’t a Federal!

Terrific value.
This is the best motor siren I have found for the price and at this level of current consumption. It looks good, but more importantly it coasts fairly well after the power is removed - almost unique in an inexpensive motor siren. And, it sounds like a real siren - not shrill and shallow like most inexpensive units. Real siren enthusiasts will know what I'm talking about.

Novelty describes it perfectly
The novelty horn looks perfect and has a great weight to it I feel like it will hold up for the long haul. Now the bad the box made me think it was a return because the box was damaged and resealed. There is also no way that it is 120dbs it is much quitier then $30 one had that this one is replacing. Visually it is perfect for the restoration that I'm doing on a vintage military police jeep just wish it packed more of a punch.
