The best rice I've ever tasted! The directions not so much
Sublime, *FLORAL* taste, intense and mild at the same time. Best rice I've ever had! Cooked with nothing other than water, added 1/2 tsp salt at the end. BEWARE, box and insert have two different directions. Box suggests 6-7 cups of water. Paper insert says 4 cups! ... USE 4 cups of water! It took about 1 hrs 15 min (and paying attention and testing) to make the perfect rice, slightly al-dente, with no pour-off of excess water. It really is wonderful rice, crazy good. I'm pairing it with a few things, including some turkey soup, chicken, salmon, can't wait. And I can't seem to stop stealing a bite from the container in the fridge. Truly a magic flavor and texture if you cook it right!

Best rice in the world, Feed your primal side & your most picky human
Best rice in the world. Unadulterated grown as it has been with no modification for eons by the Red Lakes Nation the indigenous population in Minnesota. This rice almost went extinct from over-harvesting from settlers; I am abundantly thankful the Red Lakes Nation brought it back from the brink of Extinction. This is a high-quality rice. You will not find any dust in it is super clean. When cooking it takes a little bit of longer to cook & a little more water: it’s a bit longer & densely packed with nutrients. It has beautiful flavor and texture. Whether I cook a little pot or a large pot for leftovers, you can freeze it or in the fridge it stays perfect, reheat in a pot with a little bit of water and steam Or make a cold rice salad; Simple & Perfect every single time. Breakfast, lunch or dinner it’s amazing. Even as simple as butter and salt. My first experience was eggs over easy laid on top of the rice with broccoli & butter for breakfast, kept me going & satisfied. I store mine in a half gallon mason jar. It looks gorgeous. People are so amazed by its beauty, its flavor and its amazing texture. Even the most picky of Humans have enjoyed it thoroughly. It is an ancient grain that feeds your primal side; Primal foods are essential to a healthy life

Good item for the price.
We love wild rice and eat it frequently. It is much cheaper to buy online in larger packages than local stores carry. This has always been a good product.

DELICIOUS!!
I just discovered black wild rice and am now a enthusiastic consumer of RLN wild rice! I put 1cup rice in my Aroma rice cooker with 4 (yes four) cups of water. I time it for 80min and it comes out perfect with no sticking to the bottom. What little water remains is absorbed. If the cooker runs until it shifts to 'warm' the rice is over-done and sticks to the bottom. I love the 'popped rice' look with a slightly soft crunchy / chewy texture! I'll stop gushing now...just get some for yourself! (not a compensated endorsement)

Delicious and pretty
If you haven't had wild rice before, I strongly recommend trying it. I cook it on the brown rice setting in my zojirushi. You can mix it with brown rice, lentils, or quinoa as well.

Great addition to your meal
Loved this rice since I was a kid and saw it growing wild. We mix it with brown rice whenever we make rice, which is about once a week.
