Hy-Tapewith Zinc Oxide Base, Waterproof, Latex-Free, Pink, 3" x 5 yds

We put this tape underneath my daughter’s Omnipod as a barrier to prevent an allergic reaction to the Omnipod adhesive. It is very sticky and hard to work with, but Hy-Tape is only thing we’ve found that doesn’t irritate her skin! (And we’ve tried a lot of other things!)

I am using this for pressure/zinc treatment of keloid scars. It is working!!! Keloids heal very slowly, if they heal. This process is in year 3 for the specific keloids I am treating this time. I react badly to adhesive tapes... even this one if I wear it for more than 4 days in the same spot. So I do let my skin rest for 24 hours about every 4 days. Now, the reason for the 4 stars vs 5... the last batch of tape I ordered is thinner ... and peels around the edges much faster than the previous orders did. It also stretches out of shape easier. Not happy about that and hoping that it is still as effective as the older, thicker tape was.

I have an ileostomy & this product allowed me to go swimming with peace of mind I never thought I’d have after getting the ostomy bag. I just framed my appliance & went for it & had no issues for the three days I was on vacation. Thanking god for this product!!!

I may have pushed it with use but after tubing for 30 minutes, it started to let water in.

I love this tape; I would have given a 5 rating except that there is not a removable backing. I adhere my disposal Insulin Pump on top of this tape due to an allergy to the adhesive on my pump. I don't have a reaction at all to the Hy-Tape. The only downside is that the glue remainder on the skin is hard to remove, and there is not a removable backing.

Seems to hold very well.
