Super deal...sturdy. Have had no issues with cracking or breakage in food service. Description says 'foldable. NOT and I believe they mean 'stackable' for compact storage. I do not see usage for 'pencils, pens, paper clips, or similar sized items as the holes in the baskets permit 'drop through'. But for its main intended use (food), no issues. I also use waxed paper, cloth napkins, paper napkins to line the baskets and cannot attest to contact with food in its 'raw form' as to melt factor, grease, staining, leakage, or breakage.

I bought these for an event & used them to make individual charcuterie baskets. Although they are lightweight, they are still quite sturdy & wash up easily. I'll definitely be using them for more functions in the future.
