OtterBox Defender Series Surreal Collection Case for iPhone 4/4S - Retail Packaging - Fantasy

This is my second Otterbox in two years. They're very durable and have protected my phone through many drops and falls. It's even survived a puppy getting hold of it!However, my OtterBoxes tend to start coming apart after a few months (11 months the first time, 4 months the second time). I'm the only one using my phone, no kids or crazies borrowing it, but daily use still takes its toll. The silicone case becomes loose and sometimes starts ripping around the top corners and charging hole cover. Luckily, mine start coming apart while they're still under warranty and I've been able to get a replacement case at no cost. I love OtterBox for that!Even when the silicone case begins wearing, I'm confident that the hard case is strong enough to protect my phone from most small disasters. Thanks to great customer service and the strength of the cases themselves, I recommend OtterBox to everyone I know!

I've owned IPhones for several years, and Otterboxes have saved their lives more than once. One of my Otterboxed-encased Iphones ended up as a chew toy for an Old English Sheepdog puppy, with the IPhone inside. The phone itself was fully protected. However, my previous Otterbox "stretched out" in a couple of places and had to be replaced. I would still purchase an Otterbox but was surprised that it didn't hold up for more than about a year. (In fairness, the Otterbox company would have replaced it, but their protocol for documenting the damage--lots of photos that had to be uploaded and emailed--was more complicated than just buying another one.)

Love the design on this case, and so did a lot of people that saw it.This is my second Otter box, I love how I have never had a cracked screen or damaged phone. What I don't love is that after repeated use the panel where the charge chord is plugged into the phone tends to become warped and doesn't like to stay closed. Happened with this case and my first one.

I love the Defender series of the Otterbox. It provides amazing protection. I purchased the Reflex Otterbox case for my husband's iPad...ended up replacing that case with a Defender case... He was too rough on the Reflex case. The Commuter series is a second best option as it doesn't provide overall screen protection. Long story short, I highly recommend the Defender series for ultimate protection. I've purchased three Defender cases for different products.

I have good things to say about the OtterBox. It is everything as claimed for protecting my iphone. I can slip it into my pocket without worry of damaging the phone on keys or change. Directions for assemble could be a little clearer.

Not too fond of this case. Previously I had a LifeProof case for my iPhone 4S which protected my phone well for 2 years. After my case was super tired, I replaced it with this case 4 months ago and am already having issues with this case. The rubber around is stretched weird and doesn't fit snugly around the plastic inner case. The rubber is also weird around the home button. Kind of loose and it sometimes pops off weird. I recently dropped it for the first time and now the top corner of the inner plastic case is cracked. My phone is still protected - which is good, but this case is NOT holding up like so many people swore to me the OtterBox Defender cases do.

I purchased this case many years ago for my phone. I absolutely loved it. It was very unique in design. I got lots of compliments on it. On top of the great design it was an Otterbox defender series so obviously it protected the phone great. If I hadn't moved on to a different phone I would still have this case on my phone.

I love otterbox, I get one everytime i get a new smartphone. I love that this design is not the "run of the mill" ottterbox. I get tired of my phone looking like everyone else's. This is a fun design and the back is harder than the other otterboxes. It does not feature that "waffle" like design as the backs of the others have....so this one is easier to keep clean. Glad I got this otterbox.

Bought this for my 12 yo son. Wanted to make sure his iPhone was well protected and had to have the "cool" factor so he doesn't take it off. He really likes it--very unique--no one has the same case. The cover for the headphone jack doesn't seem to cover perfectly--but other than that, no issues.

from my experience these are the best i-phone cases, very durable . i now own 4 otter boxes. I would recommend it any time
