Works Perfectly with Hifiman HE400i 2020
Just thought I'd give my feedback after seeing if these would work on my 400i (2020), since I saw someone ask the question in the Q&A and the seller not being sure whether these would work.In short, yes, they fit perfectly. AHG (the seller) could probably add the entire Hifiman HE-series to this Amazon listing's description and call it a day. In addition, these are *almost* exactly what I was looking for to improve the comfort and sound characteristics of my Hifiman HE400i 2020.Pad measurements compared to the Focus pads that come with the 400i are as follows:Stock:Diameter - 103mmEar Opening - 55mm x 55mmFront Thickness - 18mmRear Thickness - 28mmThis Pad (per description and verified):Diameter - 104mmEar Opening - 50mm x 70mmFront Thickness - 22mmRear Thickness - 29mmCOMFORTThey improve the comfort significantly (for me), primarily due to the taller and oval-shaped ear opening, which prevents my ears from touching any part of the inside of the pad. Materials-wise, the sheepskin (or is it protein leather?) feels softer and less irritating than the stock felt on the Focus pads. As expected though, it gets the ears hotter, quicker, but not greatly so compared to stock. The only negative comfort-wise has to do with the slightly thicker front of the pad. This, combined with the denser foam (or perhaps simply as a result of pad material that's stiffer than felt) puts slightly more pressure in front of the ear compared to the stock pads. If you have pressure sensitivity in that area (IE - behind cheekbones, in front of ear) these pads make it ever so slightly worse. Time will tell whether it softens up and becomes closer to stock. As seen in the pics, the pads fit onto the Hifiman ear cup mounting rings in a stock-like fashion. No trimming required. I bought these rings directly from Hifiman. If you have no intention of keeping the stock pads, they can be cannibalized to extract their rings.SOUNDI had already EQ'ed my 400i to the Harman target using settings found on AutoEQ and quite liked the result. However, the no amount of EQ could improve the lack of "thump" or "slam" from the low bass and sub-bass frequencies. For the most part, these pads bring that aspect of the sound up to my expectations. The quantity and impact of those notes are much improved. The speed of the bass is slightly compromised, but I feel that's a worthwhile trade-off for the added body in most music. Mids remained untouched by the pad change. Treble sounds slightly toned down and smoothed out compared to the original EQ'ed headphone. While this makes it sound very easy-going, I do perceive a little loss of detail in that region, so I may adjust the EQ to compensate.TL;DR:+ Perfect fitment+ More comfortable if you prefer this material+ More bass, sub-bass impact/quantity/slam+ Tones down sharp trebles, more laid back sound- Slightly increased pressure point in front of ear/behind cheekbones- Slight loss of detail in treble- Ears get hotter, quickerNote: From my research, next step up from this is probably the Mr. Speakers Ether Flow angled pads. Those also have very similar dimensions, but a larger rectangular ear opening and more importantly, a front pad thickness of about 15mm, which is even thinner than the stock pads. This should result in even less pressure in front of the ears. However, those pads are much pricier at $80. These pads are an amazing bargain at less than half that price.

Great product. Surprised. Exceeded expectations.
I did a lot of research about upgrade pads for my t50rp and ended up going with these based on cost and reviews. Shipping was fast. Product was nicely packaged/protected in a box. Pads are well made (stitching, sizing, leather, angle) and comfortable. Installing them was not difficult. The lip is deep enough, thin enough and flexible enough that it slips into the groove around the headphone cup securely. I just worked my way around a little at a time, stretching it into place. They actually fit as well or better than the stock ones. They fit around/over the ear easily, so the distance between the ear and the driver is similar to what it was with the stock pads. I agree with others that these pads change the sound signature a little, but in a positive way. What I enjoyed about the original sound is still there, just a little smoother all around. Thank you seller. Great product and service.

Good pad replacement for Denon D2000 headphone
This is to replace my Denon AH-D2000 pads - the pad surface begins to peel after more than 10 years of use. Tried several cheaper and more expensive ones, and most of them either have smaller openings or thinner pads than the original. This unit is made of high-quality sheepskin so it should be more durable. It also has openings and pad thickness comparable to the original. Installation takes less than 5 minutes. The new pad is slightly firmer than the original, but still very comfortable. There is no noticeable change in sound quality. My headphone looks like brand new after the pad replacement.

very easy install, and very nice quality ear pad
I got 2 sets of theses, for both my very old Denon AH-D7000 and my somewhat newer Fostex TH900mkII.The Fostex's protein leather was already disintegrating, and the Denon, well the Denon was just so ancient and worn. The new pads install very easily, thanks to the ring system these types of headphones use. And now that these are installed, they look good & feel good. I won't speak to any sound differences (do people actually buy new earpads specifically to try to tune their sound????) so let me just stick to comfort and appearance - they are great.I don't know how long into the future these kinds of spare parts will be easily available, so I just ordered a few more to stash away for 2034.

Great replacement earpads at a reasonable price and great customer service
Bought these earpads to replace my stock Yamaha HPH-MT5 earpads. These pads are very comfortable, don't get too hot around the ear and are stiff enough to hold their structure so the outer ear doesn't feel like it's being pressed down on. These do alter the sound a little, slight increase in bass but that's to be expected with any earpad of this design. Very subtle softening of higher mid/treble frequencies. The sheepskin is very soft and flexible, blocks outside noise reasonably well.Concerning customer service: the first pair of earpads were not matching in size and shape but the quality was still great. I contacted the company, explained the situation, provided photos and I was quickly sent a new replacement pair of perfectly matching earpads shortly after. It should also be said that the company reached out to me first to be sure that I was satisfied with their product and that if I had any problems or issues to let them know as soon as possible. In the world that is 2020, this was reassuring and very appreciated. If I ever need another set of replacement earpads of this design and quality, I will be looking to purchase from this company first.

HE400i Earpad Replacement
These fit the HE400i with very little effort. Just pull the old mesh/padding off the plastic frame and stretch the new padding over them. It's a tightish fit, but in about 15 minutes I swapped out both and reinstalled. Highly recommended if you keep going through HiFiMan replacements; these are much better than theirs.
