I bought these for two of our three small dogs. One is a Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie mix). The other is a Yorkie. We believe they have both finally stopped growing lol. They both tanked out around 11 or 12 lbs! I bought them two of these, one in the navy blue and the other in purple, Both in size large! My dogs have never worn anything bigger than a medium in other coats and sweaters. But I listened to the reviews. Also I chose the colors mainly on price. They fit well. They are warm. They are well-made and very good looking (quality). They are easy enough to get on the pups and have just enough stretch. Our Yorkie will bite anyone who tries to touch her head or face. She doesn’t scare me though! Well maybe a little. She’s a little on the diva side. Aren’t they all? We are beyond happy with the sweaters. And the price is insanely good. I believe that is because the sizing is all screwed up. If you can get the right size for your dog you’re going to be very happy. I got it right the first time. That never happens for me. I based my sizing decision on reviews and mostly on the weights of the dogs, but also on breed, of those who left the reviews. So thank you to all the pup parents who care enough to pay it forward. I am seriously thinking about going back to get a couple more. At the same time, I bought 2 other sweaters by a competitor. We are also pleased with those. They are both good sweaters in their own right. I’ve added 2 pics of the other sweater that we bought at the same time. They are well-made and comfortable on the dog with even more stretch to get them on and off easily. These sweaters seem to be sized appropriately as we bought ‘small’ and they fit our pups well. That’s Raven the tornado in the purple sweater for which I am leaving this review. Mercedes the Morkie sports the other really cute pink sweater!

Like others have said, the sizing is a little strange with these. I bought a pink and a red first and I felt sure I had the correct measurement of MEDIUM size but they are just a little small. She immediately loved them, though, and is ready to put one on as soon as I get it out. Because of that, I bought two more, a navy blue and a grey, but this time in LARGE -- these are considerably roomier and longer than the first two. Now they are looser on her and reach all the way to her tail, which is ok but more than I expected. Also, these last two are not as thick as the first ones and that was disappointing, especially since they cost a little more. But anyway, she needed something because of the cold weather these days and I'm glad to have several. Bottom line, I guess you try to get the closest measurements you can and then see what comes. They are very well made and just the cutest things, would have been so much better if they had been correct and consistent sizing.

My dog is not even a pound. The sleeves are quite long, but I roll them up and they’re perfect. I can see how the neck of the sweater could be too tight to slide over head. But for my dog, it was fine, as she’s so small. The inside of the sweater is so soft and warm.I’m happy with it :) I’m going to buy more

I have a small dog 6lbs short arms, due to the cold season I have not trimmed her so she looks a lil bigger I ordered a small but look like I should size up one or two sizes. I wash her clothes once a week and that shrinks it as well. It’s thick my dog is slim so keeps her warm she keeps it on so I know she likes it 🤷🏻‍♀️

This well-made knit sweater for small dogs has but one drawback for a number of prospective users: the sleeves make it difficult to fit on young dogs, who may tend to resist having their feet placed in the sleeves, and older dogs who may suffer from arthritis and may find the necessary bending of the front legs painful when the sweater is being placed on them. For most dogs, however, these form-fitting sweaters may be an excellent choice.

Extremely cute but size is way way off. My 14lb shih tzu it is too tight in the chest and under the arms. I measured the back/chest as they asked and the sweater crawled up her back. But in the other note if this would had fit this sweater is very soft, warm and is very cute! But I suggest buy 2 to 3 sizes up from your dog’s normal size because in my dogs 14 years of life I’ve never bought a XL for my tiny shih tzu!UPDATE:I reordered an XL for my girl!!Fits perfectly!I love this shirt and we have tried many.Soft, stretchy, cute!Definitely worth every penny!

I ordered a Large for my dog she is a Rat Terrier 13 lb. She wears it like a sweatshirt fit; it's comfortable. Her measurements around her chest circumference is 16.75 inches, neck circumference 11 inches, and neck to hip is about 12 inches (where the sweater ends). Sweater is soft and seems to be made well.

I have an older dog who has become less tolerant of the cold. Other doggie jackets she would try to remove, but she wears this one all day, comfortably. No more shivering from the cold. It is soft and warm. She weighs 12.5 pounds and wears a medium size sweater.

These sweaters are really nice fabric but the sizes are inconsistent. I musn't have read the item properly because I ordered a large for my large breed dog and it fits my small dog. He loved it so much that I ordered another the same size and it's even smaller. Disappointing.

El suéter se ve muy bonito en mi perrita. La talla está perfecta y tal cual como en la descripción. No es demasiado caliente, perfecto para noches friolentas en México. Además parece muy duradero, no le ha dañado que mis perros lo jalaban. Lo recomiendo mucho.

J'ai pris la taille XS pour mon Yorkshire de 2 livres et le gilet couvre tout son corps, mais les manches sont trop longues. C'est tout de même le seul produit que j'ai trouvé qui est vraiment XS, même si je vais devoir faire quelques ajustements.

Great for my girl Goldie but watch sizing crazy sweater a large for this small dog then the coats a med and is a little big so you never know

This sweater fits my Yorkie perfectly. I ordered small and she is not quite 4 pounds. Very soft and light weightI would recommend
