Ring Alarm Motion Detector

I mean - at this price and what it offers, forget about wasting time reading reviews on other generic products. This is the real deal and compliments my Ring doorbell so well and syncs with the app very well that one may do real-time monitoring from anywhere. Installation did not need a degree in Physics - and languages - as so often happens. Put it this way - what price should one pay for a peace of mind. At this price, buy this now!

I have several of these in my kit and though they are bulky, they are light and function well.I had one in my conservatory facing the back door that 1 month ago kept on triggering the alarm, I had to turn back twice from my journey and go home to see what was going on. I am still unaware of what motion it detected as all windows and blinds were closed and I highly doubt it picked up something like a fly flying around, but all in all, great devices and as I have read, far better than the V2 ones.

The kit comes with easy to follow instructions. The box itself is neatly laid out with what goes with what.I bought 2 extra sensors for the configuration of my house and so far it’s been great.You can change some of the settings and tones for each one, great if you have one on the front door like me that then sounds different to the rest.You can add people to it and give people like cleaners (which I don’t have) a code or time slot to use the code in without giving the full details away which is awesome.Deffo recommend the product, even thinking of talking to some of my neighbours about them getting set up too and have our own version of neighbourhood watch set up by phone!

Great piece of kit to compliment the Ring Security system. We added this to another package. The set up was a bit faffy, the instructions are not 100% clear so finding the new item and adding it took a lot longer than expected. Once it did behave and the internet and the items all synced the motion detection set up was simple and worked effectively. We have it in the living room and when on the stairway it picks up motion on the lowest setting so very power little sensor!

Easy to install and integrate with the Ring security system.A newer version is now available and smaller and more discrete than this model.

I'm not being paid by anyone to write this ( as you can tell ). The ring alarm comes in a well-packaged box with everything I needed to set it up. Ok so I do have some level of tech knowledge but I still feel as long as you can read you can have this up and running in no time. So easy to install and it looks nice. I would love to get more products from Ring in the future as it was just so easy to use, love it!

The motion sensors for the Ring system are excellent.I bought this additional one to have in my shed which is about 4 metres from the house yet it picks it up no issue.The only real issue is the price of the item. Considering its an addon sensor it really is pricey.

Easy to install, easy to add to the Ring alarm system. Motion detection is very good, you can adjust the sensitivity so that it doesn't pick up small pets. My dog is about 19Kg and does not trip the sensor on medium, on this setting it has no problems picking up people.
