It's easy to forget that superstars are real people, but when Hannah Montana (Miley Cyrus) shows signs of forgetting her roots as Miley Stewart, her father Robbie Ray (Billy Ray Cyrus) puts his foot down. Miley has always strived to live a relatively normal teenage life, but when late stage entrances, exclusive shopping trips that end in brawling catfights, and ditching friends and family in favor of Hannah appearances become commonplace, Robbie Ray whisks her away from a date at the New York Music Awards for a dose of hometown reality at her grandma's in Crowley Corners, Tenn. Unfortunately, she's followed by Oswald (Peter Gunn), a relentless reporter from Britain's Bon Chic Magazine. Miley's initial fury at being tricked into staying at Grandma's spurs her to commence operation Save Hannah Montana, but her bad attitude eventually gives way to resignation and then the beginnings of reconnection between Miley and her family. As the days progress, Miley glimpses her growing self-absorption, finds she's attracted to old elementary friend Travis (Lucas Till), realizes that her selfishness has negatively affected her dad's personal relationships, and is drawn into her grandma's fight against the commercialization of Crowley Corners. A boastful impulse leads to Miley being charged with bringing Hannah Montana to Crowley Corners for a benefit concert; when Miley's worlds collide onstage, she reveals her true identity and declares that Hannah Montana is no more. Can Miley's hometown possibly keep Miley's secret, silence the reporter, and convince Miley that she can have the best of both worlds, or is this the end of Hannah Montana? Well-known Hannah Montana songs, including "Best of Both Worlds" and "Let's Get Crazy" are featured in the film as well as the fun new song "Hoedown Throwdown" (complete with line dance instruction), the heartfelt "Butterfly Fly Away," and the inspirational "The Climb." More important than the great music is the film's wholesome message about staying true to oneself and one's family and friends. Review: Hannah Montana love love, love - Hannah Montana: The Movie has been one of my absolute favorites since I was a kid, and even now, it still holds a special place in my heart. From the moment the music starts, it brings back all the nostalgia, fun, and emotions I felt the first time I watched it. Miley Cyrus perfectly balances her double life as Hannah and Miley, and the story does such a great job of showing how important it is to stay true to yourself. The movie is filled with catchy songs like “The Climb,” which still gives me chills every time I hear it. The mix of music, humor, heartfelt family moments, and a little bit of romance makes it a feel-good film I can always go back to. It’s one of those movies that never gets old no matter how many times I watch it. Whether you grew up watching Hannah Montana or are seeing it for the first time, this movie is a sweet reminder of how powerful it is to be yourself. 💜🎤🌾 Review: Good film - Good film brought me back to my younger days when I watched this series

Good for kids!
I remember growing up and seeing Hanna Montana and I never put two and two together. That Miley Cyrus was in fact, Hanna. I thought that Hanna was a real person. I have always been a fan of Miley, maybe cause I grew up watching her. Maybe because I can totally understand why she is the way she is. I'm fascinated by her talent and the fact that Dolly is her Godmother. I remember hearing Billy Rays Ackey breaky heart on the radio for the first time with my mom. I have kids of my own now and I put this movie on in the background while I was cleaning. Such a down to earth little movie.

Great for kids, teens and adults
Good family movie - cute story, funny and heartwarming. My girls first watched this when they were in middle school and we’ve probably now watched it 25+ times. They were just home from college and rented it from Amazon Prime to watch again.

Silly but good heart
This movie was a bit silly for me, I wish the director could have polished it up a bit to actually make it a quality movie but kids seem to like it. As for the adults, well . . . I personally had to squirm through a few scenes and eventually use the ff button on the remote. The songs were very well done and there are parts I really liked that resonated with the show but dug a little deeper into Hannah's thoughts and feelings. Got to say I was pleasantly surprised to hear Rascal Flatts singing on the front porch. That was nice, also the butterfly song with father and daughter was pretty moving. The song she writes at the end was great but I kept wanting to move her hair out of her face. Other than that I liked the song. The hip hop song was a nice surprise as well, especially seeing everyone doing the dance moves young and old.

Fantastic Movie !!!
Hannah Montana seems to be for children but it`s good for people of all ages . The story , in a nut shell , Miley a normal teenager lives a double life as a famous pop star Hannah Montana . But she can`t maintain her double life so her father decides to send her back to her hometown Tennesse for 2 weeks . During the 2 weeks Miley has to pick one of her " Best of Boath Worlds " . My favorite line is "Life`s a climb but the view is great " . A boy who Miley loves saids it to Miley . I always say this in my heart when I fail to do something or when I`m attempting on something . The songs are in the movie are great . There are a large variety of songs , hip hop , country , ballade , and more ! They are all great . I think you should by the CD set with the DVD . I hope this review helped !! Thank you (
