I purchased these braces for my 40 pound dog who has a neurological disease which is gradually decreasing her ability to walk as her muscles deteriorate. Her back legs (which I used braces on for over a year) are no longer functional so I carry her back end in a sling. Her front legs are beginning to buckle so I wanted to try these and see if keeping her front legs straight would help. YES, it does! I use them when she goes outside and she can fully use her front legs because the braces keep them rigid. I am sure it is not particularly comfortable but she certainly doesn't mind wearing them. I do not keep them unless she is going outside because I am sure they would rub in the wrong places. Besides, she cannot get up by herself so she isn't going to walk in them independently ;) I like that they have metal bars in the sides to keep it firm against her legs. The velcro is unbelievably strong which can be annoying to take them off but I have had other products where the velcro was so weak that it stopped sticking after a few weeks. I got an XL based on the sizing recommendations (she was right on the border) but I would have purchased a Large if I had been able to compare them. These work but it is because when I put them on I make sure they are fully folded over her legs. If they were any bigger I would not be able to use them. But my dog has very skinny legs so her weight is not in a good ratio when looking at the sizing. I wish they were sized by circumference of the leg, not body weight. I would definitely purchase this brace again because they are effective and SOOOOO much cheaper than a lot of the other brands.

This product worked well to provide support for my dog’s injured wrist joint. I ordered the small size based on the size listed. It ended up not being long enough, so sense it came with two I ended up cutting one of them in half and sewing it onto the other one. This creates the perfect size for my dog the weighs 80lbs, but has fairly slender legs. Unfortunately he chewed it up. I ordered another one in large, and it works Ok, but wraps around his leg 1 1/2 times not counting the Velcro tabs.

This is very good! Used it on a large dog . Only issue is that my doodle is to smart and by morning he had it off. It’s sturdy and works great if you can get doggy to leave it alone.

He had a hot spot from a site he kept licking. He's chewed every bandage and ace wrap off within minutes. I was AMAZED to find out he still had it on this morning 😊 He hasn't been licking at it all day. It's very durable...good quality. Thank you UPDATE:12/28 Well within 48 hours he tore up the first one. It came in pairs and the serving was totally destroyed in 24 hours!

Our 13 yr old Boston Terrier was diagnosed with Lymphoma in April. It spread to his bones and he has 2 tumors in his front leg, just above the ankle. We got this brace to give him some more stability and support when he walks and it has been wonderful once we worked out how to get it to not slip down. Because of the neoprene, it seemed to slide down his skinny little leg as he moved. We ended up getting some cohesive bandage wrap and when we change it after washing, I just put a fresh wrap on his leg and then put the brace over it. It stays on wonderfully. As for washing, it comes in a set of 2, so I wash one while he is wearing the other. I hand wash and hang to dry. Very durable and easy to clean. All in all, I highly recommend this support brace with the addition of a layer of cohesive wrap underneath.

Didn't last long. Our boy Roscoe wore them on the morning walks for about an hour. After 4 months of wearing them for only an hour a day the stitching started to give way. I have to buy a new set.

Bought these to stop our dog from licking his leg until it was raw. No good. He learned how to pull them off in no time. I ordered the S/M size, which I thought would fit perfectly and they did. They weren't loose at all, but our dog chewed and pulled until it came off.

My Lab aged 9 has joint pain in the front leg. And we found it useful for him. The overall quality is good. But the wellcrew is getting damged as each passing day. Though it is still holding after nearly 3 months of use. I use it only when I take him for walking. But still, I think, it is very much over priced.

My dog had a wound that needed to be protected from licking. My dog chewed through the brace but if your dog isn’t a big chewer it would work fine!

The metal side support is completely useless.. better buy locally from petshop so that we can verify and then buy
