One hour goes by, then another, then another. If your morning loop sometimes turns into a home-by-moonlight affair, you'll want an off-road jersey that gives you all-day comfort and visibility. The Gore Bike Wear Countdown II Short-Sleeve Jersey 's comfortable, stretchy fit won't distract you from the awesomeness of the singletrack you're riding. The Countdown II Jersey has an active, loose fit and is made of 80 percent nylon and 20 percent elastane, so it stretches with you. It wicks sweat away from your body, which promotes evaporation, and thus cooling. The flatlock seams are oriented horizontally rather than vertically to prevent chafing. A short zip with semi-locking slider lets you air out just the right amount, as do the armpit mesh inserts. Two zip pockets on the back store your ride essentials. There are plenty of reflective accents wrapping up the Countdown II Jersey to ensure that you'll be seen by motorists on your twilight journey back to civilization; the front logo, sleeves, and back are all tagged for 360-degree visibility. The Gore Bike Wear Countdown II Short-Sleeve Jersey comes in sizes Small through XX-Large, and in five color options: Black/earth beige, Black/white, Earth Beige/black, Lime Green/earth, Red/black, and Black.Product FeaturesMaterial: 100% polyesterFit: Pockets: 1 back two-part with lateral zippersZip: 1/2-lengthSPF Rating: UPF Rating: Recommended Use: mountain bikingManufacturer Warranty:

Great Material, Meh Pockets
This is a good jersey - it's highly visible, the material is comfortable, breathable and does not feel plasticky. A few notes: - These run large; my XXL is slightly baggy on me (for comparison, I have a XXL Voler that barely makes my waist in front) - The pockets are not very good - they zip vertically instead of horizontally, and it is very easy to get the mesh caught in the zipper if you have anything heavy (i.e. an iPhone) in your pockets. Not a deal breaker, but you do have to be careful zipping them up, and I'd prefer a standard horizontal zip or elastic. - Not stretchy. If you're looking to be visible on a training ride, buy this. If you want to be super aero, get something else.

Loose fit as expected, vertical zippers on back pocket ...
Loose fit as expected, vertical zippers on back pocket are odd. Also, the inside of the pocket is mesh, so items can pick up some moisture from your body in hot weather (more so that a regular jersey pocket).

I really enjoy Gore jersey for touring through all my different destinations
I really enjoy Gore jersey for touring through all my different destinations. The zippered pocket come handy when I make a pit stop for lunch, diner, or just a casual stop. The shirt colors are bright enough to be seen yet settle enough to go inside restaurants, stores, and any other facilities. The jersey dries quickly and is very compatible.

Good Shirt
Fits as expected. I take a medium in a man's shirt but I like extra room to put a layer underneath in the fall so I got a large.

It's the great pumpkin (and that's a good thing)
Great color, hi-vis, and as a bigger guy I appreciate it coming in XXL.
