Very cheaply made. Feels like a 10 cents item.
Extremely low quality product. After unpacking when we opened one of the flaps, a piece inside broke and fell. Ignoring that, we put it on our cabinet but when we pulled on the cabinet, the safety latch opened!Sorry for this negative review but we were really very disappointed given that the product has such good reviews. And as parents, we already have less time so really rely on the reviews to make decisions to save time. And when such cheaply made products have such high reviews, it makes us wonder.

too simple for tots to open
Our eighteen-month-old saw us use it, and he figured it out straightaway. If it was a little tighter, he would not be able to apply enough force to open it. It still kinda works, though - he doesn't really bother to get it open. Next time we'll look for one where you have to squeeze it to open it - he can't figure that out yet.

Good idea but easy to open for toddler.
My 26 month old year old fingered out very fast how to open these locks. If you have a younger baby or toddler it should great. but it's very easy open for a 2 year old.

I needed to baby proof some areas in my home and these work great. A few tips though
These latches are exactly what I was looking for! I needed to baby proof some areas in my home and these work great. A few tips though...make sure the surface you stick the adhesive to are dry and clean. Also be sure you you place the sticky side side of the adhesive exactly where you want it as its pretty hard to read just as the adhesive is really strong. Make sure you space one end of the latch far enough away from the other end that you don't get a bending gap of the plastic between the latches. This will cause you to be able to lift or open the door you are trying to lock just a little bit, and the risk of getting little fingers caught between the door is high. The latches are very secure, lol even I had a time trying to flip the latch open! I haven't removed any latches from a painted surface so I'm not sure if it will be damaging to painted surfaces. Baby loves his new chew toy! But it doesn't keep cabinets closed or safe.
Pros:- Easy to install- Clear instructions- Baby loves using strap as a chew toy.Cons- 7 month old figured out how to removed them within one day- He has now figured out how to use the strap to open cabinets more easily- Annoying to relatch when closing cabinets- Does not work properly on lazy susans or drawers- Cover comes off frequently and easily (however it does not break and is easy to relatch)- Looks tacky
