Big Train Chamba Chai Spiced Chai Latte, Two 4lb. Jugs

I love this spiced chai latte, especially mixed with milk rather than water. I don't usually like powdered drinks, but this mixes well. There is some sediment at the bottom of the cup, but not much. I probably don't mix it long enough.

I bought these because of the price and the fact that they are the big train chai latte in a big container. I still like Oregon Chai a little bit better than the big train one. But Big train/Chamba Chai has a better bulk price. I feel like I need to add an extra 1/4 of a scoop to get the flavor I want, which is slightly annoying, but I am thinking maybe my mugs are a few ounces more than 8ounces and that might be why. This chai consistently gets a bit grainy on the last sips, which isn't very pleasant, but it's not bad and it could be way worse. Overall for sticking within my budget and still getting a chai latte indulgence, this fits the bill well enough for me. I like it. And it is smooth enough that I don't have to add milk, but I could if I wanted it to be extra creamy. It's a good balance. I like that it includes a scoop in it, though it is annoying that it is usually deep into the bottle, so you have to really dig around to find it. The minor downsides were not enough to take away a star because overall it is a good product and meets my needs.

I used to only be able to find and purchase this from Costco and was disappointed when they stopped carrying it because this is more flavorful than what you can purchase at Starbucks in both the original chai latte and the Oprah Chia. This has a better balance of flavor and spice and you can change the flavor by using more or less of the powder. I recommend that you use this with heated milk or bender with milk and ice to make a Frappuccino. This flavor gets me through the summer months when blended and through with winter months when heated to get that spice and flavor balance. I do not think it tastes as well if you mix it with water, but that is an option too. It is more costly than it used to be at Costco, but definitely worth the extra money as the flavor is just the same as it has always been.

This is a great drink. I especially like it hot. I've tried other chai tea drinks and this has the best flavor. It blends well. The cost is a bit much but I find it's worth it for now.

This easy to prepare tea is exceptionally tasty. Our family enjoys a cup after a busy day or after dinner in the evening. We reccomend it without any negative comments.

My family loves Chamba Chai. We bought it for years every time it came available at Costco. Our last jug finally ran out, and we've seen none at Costco to replace it with, so I turned to Amazon. My order of two 4lb jugs of Chamba Chair arrived today. Low and behold, they were not in fact JUGS of chai, but bags. I wanted the jugs because my children love the chai too. The idea of them scooping it out of the jug seemed less likely to end with powder all over the counters and floor than having them scoop out of a bag. I specifically ordered this quantity from this seller, because they advertised the jugs of chai I was used to. When the box arrived today, I was skeptical that they'd managed to fit two jugs in it. They hadn't of course. Hopefully the product tastes the same. But I am deeply disappointed that what I thought I was ordering based on the picture and the description was not what I received.
