Q: Is this probiotic shipped cold?

Item wasn't shipped with a cold pac. I'm in Louisiana and the weather has been 80-85 degrees for the last two weeks. This probably sat in the heat for days. I'm incredibly disappointed that the seller could care less about the quality of the product that they sell, especially since it's for my girlfriend's health.

As a side note both of these probiotics (men's/women's) are refrigerated by the manufacturer when they ship it to a Retailer. Hopefully you are choosing a Seller that ships the probiotic with ice and thermal bag to ensure the integrity of the probiotics. Our listing for both Men's and Women's is the same price of $36.72 which is the MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) from Garden of Life and ship with ice pack and insulated bag which is why are shipping cost is $7.95 (ice pack + insulated bag + extra shipping weight). As far as I can tell from the tiny letters on the label, and checking the RAW website, the answer woukd be "no." They appear to be vegetarian, but not dairy-free, so if you're allergic to dairy, or vegan, you might want to look more closely. Check their site yourself: I think they MAY have another probiotic that's dairy-free...but it might also have other ingredients not congenial to a vegan or other vegetarian. There ARE companies out there who produce dairy-free probiotics, but in your place I'd do a search, read ingredient lists carefully, and even contact the companies' customer support. That way you'll feel confident about the product you decide to buy.
