Works perfectly.I tried to save money by purchasing a “refilled” product which was a mess & returned.Save some time & grief, just stick with the OEM product.

First cartridge was damaged in shipment. Amazon send a replacement the next day. Hopefully Amazon will quit using those plastic shrink envelops for toner cartridges. Replacement was shipped in a box - no problems. If you have a Canon laser printer, it's best to use original Canon toner cartridges. Generics do not always work or produce the best print quality. Yes, Canon cartridges cost more but they last longer and produce perfect printouts. It only makes sense to purchase replacement cartridges from the company who manufactured the printer. Generic cartridges will never match the quality of Canon cartridges.

I have tried other brands and sometime they are "ok" in that they can be made to fit in and aren't disasters, but sometimes they are a nightmare. Unless your budget just absolutely cannot handle paying the admittedly very high price, you are better off just buying the genuine article. Easy to install, works right away, no mess, no drama.

I ordered this around August 5th. I typically order a new cartridge when I replace one. Our copier said it needed a new toner. We replaced it with the cartridge I had and it did not print at all. The new cartridge was different from the old cartridge. Even though it says authentic Canon. I put the old cartridge in and it is fine. The return period is gone. It was in September. So I am out 117.00. Plus I looked at the box and the expiration code is 03/10/2024. So when this was sent it was expired. Very upset.

The Canon cartridge has meet my expectations on printing my material. I had tried an off brand because it was less expensive and didn't work. Glad I got the Canon cartridge.
